Someone's post inspired me to try to make this, while I thought it was good (didn't taste exactly like a no bake cookie, but still good!) I preferred my last trial, which is noted at the end of my post :)

    Bump!
  • My experience was a little different, and mine looked MUCH darker chocolate. I actually really enjoyed it!! I'm a chocolate freak, and it really hit the spot!

Here's how I did mine, if anybody is interested:

1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I use Naturade total soy)
    1/2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa
1 1/2 tsp organic sugar (you can use your own sweetener)
2 TBSP peanut flour (I use protein plus brand)
1 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk (I like my oatmeal thin, if you prefer thicker, adjust as you see fit)
1/2 TBSP coconut oil (you could omit, but I try to get 1-2 TBSP a day, so I thought this was a good place for it)
1/2 c. rolled old fashioned oats (you could sub whatever kind you like-old fashioned, quick, steel cut)
1 TBSP crushed almonds (I just love almonds in oatmeal; you could do sliced, slivered, whatever you like)

I combined everything but the oatmeal and almonds with a whisk then mixed in the oats and almonds. Brought to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly. Continued to boil one minute, then removed from heat and covered. Let rest for five minutes. I thought it was DELICIOUS. I'll put it in my rotation.

The pic is actually the nutella one! I just realized when you said that. Oh well lol. I thought about adding some coconut to mine, but don't have any more coconut oil and didn't want the regular coconut in there. I was going to try it with protein powder, too but my chocolate is gone and I only have strawberry!

    Glad you liked yours!! :)
  • Strawberry protein powder would be good... but not with chocolate and peanut butter. ;)
