  • Sending you a request! I like active friends! :)
  • People who can't eat properly. Close your mouth when you chew and please don't talk to me with a mouthful of food! D:
  • I eat them if I'm hungry. I usually eat 50% back if I am hungry but make sure its all good, healthy, clean food. I don't splurge them on something just to fill up calories.
  • UK here, feel free to add!
  • It's taken me 2 years to get from 168 to 126lbs. Be patient, a week is nothing compared to the rest of your life. My weightloss was slow because I didn't eat enough at first and when I hoped my calories to a more healthy and sustainable goal I inevitably gained weight! That's what will happen eventually because you cannot…
  • Go out and do all the things you enjoy! Make new friends. Laugh lots. Pamper yourself. Go shopping for gorgeous clothes and shoes! Heck, my ex broke up with me, I ended up becoming a singer for an awesome band (something I always wanted to do, and he put me down about it) and making new friends meant I met my current…
  • You've had a great loss already! One week is nothing to worry about, as you get closer to goal you will find you lose very little as the weeks go by. I'm lucky to lose a pound a month if I'm not eating clean and exercising regularly.
  • I always lose more in summer, love just going for walks when its warm and tend to eat salads and light foods and it keeps me satisfied. Obviously there's still more drinking and bbqs in summer which I love doing too but I hosted one last night and I'd lost this morning! Must have been all the preparing and running around…
  • <<< jet black hair. I have an olive skin tone though so I don't look washed out with it. If you have a pale complexion, avoid at all costs!
  • If everyone learnt to eat when they're feeling true hunger these posts wouldn't happen. Some days I eat 2000+ calories, day after I'll eat little to nothing (under 1000) or is feel to heavy, ill and bloated. Just wish people would stop preaching. It's preference to how you eat, hence why most of us are here in the first…
  • Bad diet No exercise Alcohol Lack of nutritional education (which I have now taught myself!)
  • I do 5:2, great for me. Especially after a weekend of over indulgence! A fast day really helps get you back on track! :) I have a few friends on here that also do it and they also love it! :)
  • It works if you want it to work! Be honest with yourself about your goals and your logging and you'll find it works amazingly! :)
  • Can't say I agree. I shave my legs everyday, not to be 'more attractive' but because I think it's gross otherwise... :P & heels make me taller (I'm a shorty so extra height from heels make me on more of a level with other people!) I don't think it's strictly true, I TRY to look good everyday because it makes ME feel better…
  • Hmm, my boyfriend said he wouldn't have dated me if I was 'big'. It's a preference.
  • I used to but it became obsessive and started affecting what and how much I ate. I still weigh maybe 3 times a week which is still bad enough... Weekly, two weekly or evn monthly would be better.
  • Walking helps me. Unfortunately I usually get cramps late night and early morning so I just grab a cup of tea and my hot water bottle and cuddles from my OH, seems to work. :P lol
  • I'm currently a 28 down from 38. :) Aiming for 25.
  • When I went to Nandos I was pleasantly surprised. Love it as well.
  • I've had breaks over holidays etc. But was always mindful of what I ate. Resulted in only a 2lb gain over Christmas last year, which was my last break. I don't log every single item everyday, somedays I do. If you feel like you need a break though, do it or at least go easier on yourself.

  • Great thread! I trained in graphic design before I became a hairdresser so I can also spot the photoshopping in many images. Especially now I work in a fashion industry, I find the hair magazines and fashion books we look through so painful to look at, the high fashion ones are the worst!
  • On my last 6-10 depending on how I feel. Tried a lot exercise wise but what really got the weight and my body toned more has been walking! Started about a month ago, generally walk 5 - 7 miles about 4-5 times a week. Along with eating well (generally clean though I do drink and have slip ups a couple of times a week) I've…
  • My boyfriend makes comments about my figure but the difference is he jokes then will help and encourage me to eat better and exercise, which he does with me. That's what your husband should be doing! Hurtful comments are not helpful in the slightest and are triggering your emotional eating! I would not let him get to you,…
  • Mine were Ds before I gained weight, they got bigger and now they're back to where I started! :)
  • My boyfriend loves my hourglass shape and so do I. Doesn't really matter to me if it's 'in' or not since I can't change genetics.
  • Above BMR, below TDEE. You should have around 1400-1500 calories. Set to lose 0.5lb a week. No one is truely sedentary(unless you can't physically walk around by yourself) and you workout 3x a week already so I would be set to lightly active. Can add me to check out my diary if you want. I previously ate 1200 calories and…
  • I looove rice cakes! Better than me reaching for a choclate bar or a bag of crisps! :D
  • Best advice I got and I realise it now that I'm with someone younger than me was "always date younger guys because they never grow up anyway!" It is true, my boyfriend now is no different mentally than any older guy I've dated ;D so maybe age should be less of an issue? Is say just chill, go out, socialise and meet new…
  • I don't consider myself to be really up there in the attractive stakes but I always get guys coming up to me. When I'm out drinking, walking, even at the supermarket. I'd say I'm quite confident and I take a pride in my appearence all the time so that's probably what is coming through?! :s
