Got it! Thanks! :)

It definitely can build stamina. Start with a slow walk, target around 5,000 steps then the week after do 6,000 and build up like that. Then increase the speed in which you walk. I'm walking about 3.5 - 4 mph on a 5 miles walk now and considering whether to use the opportunity to start running as I'm feeling I have built…

Aerobic dancing is my cardio otherwise I walk or yoga. I hate running!

I believe moderation is key but I find it hard too so what I do now is eat well during the week , just salads with different proteins/carbs, then on a Friday or Saturday I will have a cheat meal with dessert, snacks before or after and drinks. I do yoga and walking during the week too, burning on average around 300 cals a…

I eat all of them. Not all at once but I mix it up so I'm not eating the same in my meals. I like bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon but I'll eat wraps with grilled spicy chicken and veg, pitta with houmous and bread with a salad. All perfectly good. :)

Ham salad followed by a yogurt and Apple because it's lunch time!

Ex-smoker here! Try yoga, to really connect to your breath and work onbuild a stronger and deeper breath. I have found significant improvement in my breathing since I began yoga... Alongside quitting smoking it is the best thing I've done for myself.

It's rubbish but if you get yourself out and do it you will feel so much better! I went for a walk around the coast yesterday evening in howling wind and rain but felt I'd achieved something afterwards. It is totally worth it! :)

I use a fitbit and just log my yoga practice with MFP. :)

12 and counting! Large chest piece on going which will extend to a half sleeve on my left arm to join up the odd one on there! Eventually!

If you aren't dedicated to counting calories and measuring portions then you aren't dedicated to losing weight. Simple as.

I fast walk everywhere! Walking is my main exercise and I love it! Get your heart rate going, get a bit of a sweat on and keepnwalking, don't listen to your friend!

I worked as a primary school teaching assistant last year and never made 3.5miles on my feet all day (including a one hour long after school club and playground duty during break times). I wouldn't consider it an active job in the slightest. I would fast walk 5 miles after I got home at 6pm. As for the comment, use it as…

Starting uni on 8th September. Feel free to add me. :)

I try not to cut out anything but I do avoid any fizzy drinks (though sometimes have diet coke if I'm out and not drinking alcohol) and processed sugar. I avoid sweets like the plague. I never eat dessert in a restaurant either. Seems to work for me :)

I have a fitbit one and I love it. Definitely motivates me to move more. It is a really good way of tracking daily burn as you can track patterns using the fitbit dashboard when you sync onto the computer. I recommend it to anyone who asks me about it as I am always wearing it! My mum recently got one as she was sedentary…

1) People who don't know how to indicate. It's "Mirror, signal, manoeuvre" not "manoeuvre, signal and don't even bother to check your mirrors"! 2) People who edge in traffic. Just pull up to the car in front and wait for the light to change! 3) People who don't set of at a green light! I'm not waiting another rotation just…

So its better to drink/eat processed fruit and veg (because, let's face it, there must be some processing involved) is better than picking up an apple or adding an extra portion of broccoli to your dinner? Or am I missing the point?

I drink tea! No sugar, splash of milk. :) That and water.

I'm 5'2" and aiming for 112lbs. I'm currently at 123lbs and working down my weight with mini goals, 118lbs is next, that will be 50lbs lost for me! :)

Get rid anyway you can! I stick some of my nicer things on ebay, dresses etc. that I've only worn a few times. Sometimes better getting something back on more expensive items! :)
-
45lbs in 3 years! Start weight - 168lbs Current 123lbs I'm not always strict and I like to eat, drink and be merry so it's probably taking longer than it should! :P

I don't have kids but I have thought about it but I'm not as keen as my partner. He's 3 years younger than me though so he does want to wait. After I've had a bit of an wild life so far, I won't finish university and my teaching degree until I am 30 and I always said I want kids before 30 if I do have them. Then there's…

I lost 7lbs in just under 2 weeks when I switched back to Yasmin. I was in Loestrin before that.

I know for a fact that men have these issues. I'm in a band with my boyfriend and brother, if you're up on that stage you worry that you dont look ideal, the focus is on you and people will judge. My boyfriend constantly asks me if he's getting fat. My brother will skip meals to stay in shape. They compare themselves to…
