Yeah, I was just thinking the same.

It helps posture. I was told to try do it to improve mine because of my neck problems, noticed slightly tighter abs and better posture. No fat loss though.

My main exercise is walking so with the nice weather I've been doing it more! So worked out quite well for me!

Walker here! 6-8 miles per walk, 3 or more times a week. Just love it! ETA: some people are saying it doesn't burn many calories or its not the most effective exercise. I walk at an average speed of 3.2 miles per hour, at 125lbs for 90 mins I burn around 350 calories and get a proper sweat on. Since its the only exercise I…

But you can make your own 'frozen' meals with fresh ingredients. I make a curry sauce (enough for 4 meals for 5 people) which work out SO much cheaper than buying everyone their own ready meal. I can make the sauce for less than £3.00 then all I add is spices (which can be ezpensive when you buy them but they last…

The way his father is being with him is having a serious effect on him if he feels that he needs to take it out on you, sometimes physically, everytime you tell him something is not acceptable. That is not behaviour I would put up with as a responsible parent. Please don't let that continue or you will be the one taken…

Definitely agree with this. Nuts are not a good option because of where you work. Some people have serious allergies, I think you're more likely to be in contact with those people in a doctors office. Just eat more at your meals? Healthy and filling foods with loads of protein to keep you fuller longer.

Cake won't kill you. I eat out in restaurants (shock horror) and sometimes have dessert (*gasp*) 43lbs down and not dead! I try to eat clean but sometimes you have to remember most of the people around you don't. You have to give a little sometimes, they don't realise and to them you're just being awkward.

Both! :P If its calories you're worried about I'd go for a spirit and diet mixer :)
-
If you're running round after your kids at home I'd set at lightly active at least as you're not doing physically nothing all day.

Diet and exercise for me! If you have surgery, you still have to learn about diet and exercise or the chances of you gaining back are quite high. Why not do he hard work first, then if surgery is still required from lack of results then go that route. I'm not saing surgeryis lazy, I just think that if someone can prove…

Do you log your exercise and eat it back? Your calorie goal is similar to mine when i am set at sedentary to lose 0.5lbs per week. If it is that low then I do recommend logging and eating your exercise calories, this is what I do at the moment and is working better but I cannot do strenuous exercise like P90X and would say…

Also shocked and saddened. Yesterday I saw an obese woman with her two children who were also obese, we we out walking and through the park where I walk there is a reallysteep hill. They were coming up to climb it and we passed them at quite a pace an the younger child looked at his mum and said "woah, how do you do that?"…

Yep, my boyfriend has ADHD and mild autism and he has a hard time with food, especially the food touching thing. Lucky for him I'm OCD and have to have the food laid out it's own portion on the plate. Match made in heaven?! :drinker:

Mine sits on the chair arm of where I sit and if I don't give her a fuss she will proceed to prod me with her paw. It's kinda cute but she forgets toput her claws in!

I do think people should be made aware of the food they are eating and how much they should be consuming in a day to be healthy. But even with it spelt out, some people still won't take notice. I do find surveys done by an opposing group to the thing they are surveying to be biased anyway. If a cigarette company were doing…

Yorkshire puddings with golden syrup.

These threads always gross me out!

I was just wondering this myself last night because I had leftover sweet potatoes! I'm trying them baked with some cajun spice on top with a ham and chorizo side salad. Hope it's good!

Yorkshire here, anyone feel free to add, as long as you are active! :flowerforyou:

Yes, I try to hit at least 1200 calories but I am a 23yo, 127lb female. You should be aiming for waay more, you're setting yourself u for failure!

Everything in the charts. Urgh. Especially One Direction, whoever writes their music sure like to rip other artists off,but so do 90% of cart music these days.

I walk for my primary exercise. 3-4 times a week at 3.5-4mph. My burn is around 350 calories for 90 mins (5'2" female at 128lbs) so your count sounds pretty good to me. I would have your activity level adjusted to include them anyway though since its your everyday job.

I've had self esteem issues my whole life bit I know when to ignore two idiotic guys in a van who probably don't have enough brain cells between them to string together judging by their behaviour! Just laugh at them and move on! If it was meant to insult you, you've let them win. They need your pity, not your tears because…

Only count it if I'm hoovering, dusting, scrubbing walls and floors and washing windows top to bottom. We have a 3 storey house so that's a lot of work! Just little bits here and there, no because I do it all the time!

My friends tell me I'm a huge geek. I read marvel comics and graphic novels like they're going out of fashion, love harry potter, own every episode of CSI and have watched them too many times its bordering on uncool (but I could never be that so its okay ;) ) I have a mild obsession with zombies. I'm predominantly a gamer…

Maybe that explains all the pizza my boyfriend makes me eat... Haha. :drinker: No, she'll have wanted out before, just wasn't confident enough to do anything about it.

I'm going as Harley Quinn from the Batman animated series so the forward planning to get in a catsuit is kinda useful! :D

I'm 5'2" and 129lbs currently! Always looking for active and supportive friends! Anyone feel free to add me :)
