without being able to see your diary I can't speak to directly what you are eating. I always try to be within 200 calories (under or over) of my goal...obviously not over daily. I have learned I love walking, there are some really great trails around where I live and its so nice to see the ducks, chipmunks, geese, and…

Arielle: Their nutrition is online I just hadn't planned on going there for awhile so I hadn't really looked at it but now that I have the sheet and I can see what things as well I can get as half orders I can mark some favourites to try from now on without the stress. Oh and the salad was HUGE I could barely finish it but…

Boston Pizza, we had to go to the city to get protein powder & clothes for the kids, our youngest started talking about going there as soon as we hit the city, so I was stressing the whole time about what to eat rather than enjoying shopping, or I would have bought myself some stuff too lol

Turkey, chicken are great sources of protein...and protein shakes

go to "my home" select goals at the top, change goals, custom instead of guided :-)

that's a good idea, I have a big enough purse I could stash some things in there when the options given aren't suited to my needs Thanks!

I am going to do my morning as usual food wise, get a workout in then we are off to my sis in laws for the afternoon and dinner so I am not going to log, although she does know we are changing habits at home so I am sure she will have healthier options but there will be yummy desserts too

I don't have a HRM...yet putting in 25 min circuit training says 170 calories burned. I am also 5'3 , 112lbs and trying to maintain my weight at this point and build muscle tone.

I have been wondering the same thing, although our family is complete, my husband had a vasectomy 5 yrs ago so I shouldn't be pregnant. I was due at the latest this past Sunday and still no cramping, or anything that I usually have. I came across this link, and think I may see how this month goes and talk to my dr, as I…

I was dealing with them too, I took 2 days off to ice and rest most of the day do some stretching, then the next day I missed my walk/jog too much so I decided to just cut back on how much I did. I went 3km had some pain so I stopped and did some stretches I had seen that I needed to be warmed up to do, did them for about…

SweetCharity: she's going to check her guides again and see what they say, Thanks Thanks redAngel! She is a beautiful woman! you made my day :-)

Stratdl:Thanks for the link I will check it out! pixiestick: the pain is pretty bad 7-8 minimum enough that I slow my pace then just tough it out and keep going and try to get back in step again. It starts just above my ankle and runs up my shin almost to my knee. my calves feel tight but I just figured it was muscle…

DON'T drop to 1000, your body needs minimum 1200 Calories/day to function, your body will go into starvation mode and you don't want that. I am still fairly new here but I have learned that going under 1200 is a bad idea. I am sure there are many others who can help you adjust your goals for your wanted weight loss Good…

I miss my ruffles and onion dip! I will treat myself some night but have so far stayed away from them. I love salty stuff so its finding something salty that isn't going to do me in to have now lol

MFP is easier to get around, but I like the range for daily intake of various nutrients on the other site. I use both for food...but socialize here so much easier to post/reply in one forum than the zillions it seems the other one has.

I agree with mama, any I edit or add to the database I add Canada after as it seems there is a difference in many things I look up

Yes Mini wheats are awesome! I have the Brown sugar ones, they have potassium and not alot of sodium. I think I am just going to only have one serving when I do have them and keep with my vitamin. I am sure my body is just adjusting as I am not used to healthy amounts of food, also I gotta make sure I keep my water up. I…

me too I saw I wasn't getting enough initially so I bought a mutlivitamin, when I realized I went over by that much in 2 days I had to look back at my foods and noticed that the mini wheats has a good dose in it already so I think I have just shocked my body cuz although I am only trying to maintain and build some muscle I…

well I have Frosted mini wheats for breakfast some mornings, 2 servings (40 mini wheats) that is 180% iron right there, then add my multivitamin that has 100%

Thanks for the replies, I am so put off by this, its been years of it, pretty much our whole marriage and early on we had financial support like the downpayment for our house but we paid that back. They always need to know what's going on in our lives (but yet hardly visit, or want to take the kids for us) and they find…

Stretch marks never go away, I am very self conscious about the ones on my stomach. I had surgery a year ago (not for my stomach and leave it at that lol) and to help my scars I used Bio Oil (in Canada) it has helped the scars fade and now that I see that I am going to start using it on my stomach and see how it helps…

1.To be able to do more than 15 push ups in a row 2. To run 5K 3.To find the six pack under my belly fat from having kids, although I know it will never be like in high school 4.To keep with healthy eating habits and show my kids eating healthy is good...and does have rewards!

That is a awesome accomplishment! Congratulations on the loss and keep going!!
