I don't really get the carb thing? I mean, I tend to avoid bread and pasta but only really because of the calorific content. Whether its carbs, proteins or fat, a calorie is a calorie is it not? And isn't the goal to eat less calories, burn more calories to lose weight? So why this obsession with low-carb? I don't know too…

I too have noticed large drop in weight following drinking - it must be dehydration. I've heard body builders drink white wine before a contest to look more ripped. I'll try and drink less and see what happens.

Try this for a calorie burner. It's called the "Cart". Basically get on a treadmill at 15% and walk at 3-3.5mph for 40 minutes. You'll burn a phenomenal amount of calories without the exhaustion.

Guys - i feel an intervention is needed! Do NOT go on what a woman says she wants. If that were true, game-show hosts would be the sexiest men alive (good personality, sense of humour) Assuming you present yourself reasonably, then confidence is the number one attractor. And confidence does not equal lechery!

Even with fast weight loss you still have…

In fact, running is the only successful method i've found for not smoking. I signed up to a half marathon in april just to make sure i don't smoke between now and then!

Building muscle helps burn fat but you're better off focusing on the large muscle groups. But if your only goal is to lose the bulge, then only burning calories will help. Just keep strength training in the mix so that you don't lose too much muscle in the process.

The only way to lose belly fat it is to lose fat overall - doing planks and crunches won't do anything at all. A collosal waste of time! Try the "Cart". Set treadmill to 15 degrees and walk at 3-3.5mph for 40 minutes daily. You'll lose 500 calories and sweat buckets without feeling exhausted (like running does). Then…
