  • You're right. Counting down from five weeks would be perfect! Funny what we put into numbers. I changed my ticker from "pounds to lose" to "pounds lost" because pounds to lose, to me, is an indicator of work I have to do. When I see the number, I instinctively groan. :grumble: But pounds lost is an indicator of my success…
  • I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I've been with MFP for only eight days and I already have issues with "5 Weeks!" It's such a tease
  • I purchased mine off the Infomercial just weeks before seeing it on the shelf at Walmart .. for the same price, but not including shipping & handling! :noway: My sister recently purchased hers for $70 Cdn. at Kijiji .. from a trim young woman, I might add .. good testimony to its effectiveness!
  • There are some great ideas here! This is one I learned from my sister. Take a 6" whole wheat tortilla (or Weight Watchers brand), lightly spread it with peanut butter, then wrap it around a whole banana. Wha-la! That's all there is to it and it is DeLiCiOuS! Plus, added bonus .. it takes a bit of time to get through.
  • Well now, don't I feel silly! THE hardest workout, you say. I believe you! But it looked so easy .. like Grade 6 gym class. Probably a good time to remind myself I'm not in the sixth grade anymore. I SO appreciate your comments, Jill .. because my next choice would have been Yoga. Why bother with THE hardest P90X…
  • I'm open to giving it a shot! I've had my P90X for a few years now and have only tried one DVD so far. Last summer my partner and I decided to give Plyometrics a go. We had NO IDEA what we were getting into! It was one hour of pure torture! Now I'm no stranger to a strenuous workout. I may not do them very often, but…
  • Hello gutterball, My quit date was 04/04/04 .. which makes me six years FREE! And what a Freedom it is! I joined MFP only a few days ago and plan on blogging about my quit story in the near future. But for now, I'm happy to share some of what worked for me. After 26 years of (nicotine) abuse, and at least a pack a day for…
  • Hi Mandy, I'm afraid I can't offer you any tips or success stories about P90X at this time. But I am also planning to start mine in the very near future, so I would love to follow your progress and share our experiences at the same time. Good luck to you!
