I'm not sure what route you plan on going as far as quitting but I had amazing success with Zyban. I had tried the patch( three times), cold turkey, and Chantix (twice) in the past with little to no luck. I gained weight with each attempt but actually lost weight with the Zyban. Good luck!!

I was the exact same way during the beginning of my 10 weeks last September. Up until I had open-heart surgery a few years ago, I was never allowed to exercise- not even as a kid in gym class. I promise if you stick with it you will be amazed at how far you will have come at the end of the 10wks! Now I love it so much that…

My own 2 cents: I'm not sure if you're opposed to going the medical route or not, but I tried Chantix a couple times and quit successfully for a few months but the cravings always became overwhelming and eventually I started smoking again each time when the pills ran out. In January I was put on Wellbutrin and I have found…

I run a daycare out of my home. It's hard because I am serving the kids meals and snacks every 2 hours so I'm constantly in the kitchen. It's easiest for me to not keep junk food in the house because if its there I will eat it.

I absolutely love it... even at 4:20am! Being in central Iowa we get the pleasure of working out with Lance on occasion. ;)

The 1000 calorie days are days that I do back-to-back kickboxing classes... so it's really 90+ minutes, not 45.

That was one of my biggest questions. If you have the calories left to use for the day (I still have 1180 for the day, and have eaten a very healthy 600) is fast food so bad? I thought you were supposed to eat back a portion of the exercise calories. *Side notes- I have been logging for longer than 3 weeks. As I stated in…

Woah, no need to get nasty here. I would not have opened my diary OR posted the question knowing full well what was in it if I was afraid of hearing the truth. I only closed my diary for a little bit while I figured out how to stop all of the notifications of replies I was getting on my phone. I really appreciate all of…

It is a 10-week course made up of 3 days of kickboxing and 3 days of strength training with resistance bands each week for 45mins each. It's not too extreme. ;) After completing the initial 10 weeks you can sign up for a year membership (of the same program)... which is what I'm in now.

Hi! I am Farrell's member as well! I started my 10 weeks in Sept. 2012 and am currently a FIT member. I joined just after having my 2nd (and final) baby. Congrats on completing your 10 weeks and good luck with testing TOMORROW! :) Feel free to add me as a friend! It'd be awesome to have a Farrell's friend on MFP! Ashley
