Thank you for posting this! I am still trying to figure out how many calories to eat- its confusing. I am working out more than I ever have in my life but struggling to continue to lose weight. Maybe I need MORE FOOD, which would make me happy :) You look awesome!!

It is hard! My husband is ok with trying some new things but I don't force all of my healthy foods on him. I think it definitely does matter. Maybe you'll still lose weight for a while eating crap food but from my experience your body will FEEL better eating healthier. Seems to me that you would just gain the weight back right after you went off the diet. Just like any other fad diet. All you would lose is water and muscle and your body would hang on to fat because its not getting enough calories. What's weird to me is the hot dogs... I'm 5'4" and the smallest I've ever been is 133 and a size 8 (I think I have a big butt lol)... so my goal right now is 130 and size 8 or 6 if it'll fit and I'll see how I feel at that time. Right now I'm 147 and size 10.

Aw that's mean of your friend! I'm similar to you- 5' 4" and 147lbs. I'm trying to lose weight but I guess it depends on your build. Either way, 140lbs is a perfectly healthy weight for our height so I wouldn't worry about it!!

I love flavored creamers... I was excited a couple of weeks ago that 'holiday' flavors came out- pumpkin spice and peppermint mocha! I haven't heard any negativity. People in my life are encouraging- there are a few runners in my extended family so that probably helps. As far as I'm concerned, if they want the best for you then they will encourage you. Don't pay any attention to negativity! They probably don't know what they're talking about.

Skinny Girl liquor is good, although I'm not sure if most bars would have it? I've bought it on my own but never thought to ask when I'm out. I'd stay away from fruit juices- lots of calories and sugar.

Yup, I've been surprised lately with the comments that I am 'small.' I'm still slightly overweight! I think we have become way too accustomed to overweight being normal. It's very sad to me...
