  • I always look at the protein, fiber, and carbs on the nutrition label. I go for the one that overall has the highest protein and fiber and lowest carbs if possible. Calories matter too, but I'll choose high protein and high fiber over lowest calories.

  • Sounds great if you have that much time. Most people don't have 2 hours a day to devote to exercise. I wish I did.
  • Sounds like a good plan. I can so relate. My story is similar. While I am still trying to eat just 1200 calories plus whatever I burn in exercise, I wish you all the luck. If it works for you, I just may switch my plan.
  • I think it depends on how big the calorie deficit is and what your goals are. If you simply want to built muscle then don't diet and do minimum cardio and more strength training. If you want to lose weight then do maximum cardio and strength training just to maintain muscle mass and tone up as you become leaner.

  • Make an appointment with your Dr asap. If you are eating and sleeping enough then you need to find out what else could be causing this. It is definitely not normal. Even if you think it is just stress or malnutrition, I would still advise you see a Dr.
  • I love zumba. It is so much fun; it doesn't even feel like I'm exercising although I am dripping with sweat after finishing class. I have never done the videos, just a live class. My sister, however, has done the videos and loves it. I go to a live class because I love exercising in a group.
