On a typical day I get in 4500 - 6000 steps max! Woohooo.... haha. I haven't even touched 10,000 steps the entire time I've been on this WOE... over a year or so. I think my all time highest record is around 8,000. OP is a boss.

Sounds like a great lunch, glad you enjoyed your birthday and had a good time!

Congrats on your loss!! 10,000 steps a day is very impressive. I second the advice to go to /r/keto on Reddit, that's a big helpful community, just ignore the trolls if they pop up. I take a magnesium supplement that I mix in with water and a little sugar free liquid enhancer (like mio, crystal light etc). It's called Calm…

@suzqtme Your puppy is ADORABLE. I want to babysit! haha

What you could do is get an extra plate and share your meal with someone. The US gives ridiculous portions so usually one meal at ihop is enough for both me and my toddler. We all order with the intention of sharing each others plates. So for example I order an omlette with "shell eggs" (no pancake batter) and it comes…

If I eat a new food that tastes really sweet or if I eat way over my carb/calorie goal then yes I will use ketostix to make sure I'm still producting ketones and to make sure it's not knocking me out of ketosis. If I'm eating the same day to day food then no.

There ya go, that's it then :) My go to snacks: Lindt 90% dark chocolate - I don't like dark chocolate so it's impossible for me to eat more than 2 squares at a time, but I still get chocolate so lose/win lol Chocolate protein powder - Isopure makes a 0 carb protein powder, I make chocolate mug cakes with it Parsnip chips…

3 days is not enough time to be considered a stall though. Women do have times in their cycle where they feel more.. ravenous I'd say, where we overeat. Usually just before our TOM, during, and during ovulation. If you are in any of those 3 categories that might be why you are feeling more hungry and it's normal. During…

It's definitely a keeper!

That beet root spaghetti is so pretty.. I bet if you added zucchini noodles it would bring the carb count down a bit per serving. When I'm in maintenance I'll start adding in slightly higher carby foods, then switch to keto if my weight starts coming back on. Or maybe just have some days as slightly higher carby days. I…

Honey is still a sugar even if it's a natural sugar, I'd think it would knock you out of ketosis if you had too much of it. And since you introduce sugar, your body will stop fasting and switch to burning that sugar. There's a sugar free "honey" on Amazon if you want to be on the safe side, I bought some for baking!

I do and my goal is 1400 per day, but sometimes I go over and sometimes I'm under. Like way under! As long as I hit my carb goal I am ok with that. Why are you eating over your calorie goal, are you just always hungry?

Veggies, nuts, cream, fat bombs, quest bars, pancakes, biscuits, and occasionally berries on weekends. I like strawberry pancakes.

My hair is naturally curly so 99% of the time I wash it, load it up with devacurl cream and let it air dry all day. Yup.. I go to work with wet hair, I'm one of *those* people. Lol

I could easily eat the entire bag of parsnip chips in one sitting, no joke. I think it's 15g of carbs for the entire bag. Lily's chocolate is another favorite of mine especially since half the bar is one serving. Halo Top ice cream too :)

Hospitals are ridiculous. When I was preggo I had gestational diabetes so they gave me a nutritionist who was very happy that I was restricting my carbs and sugar intake by so much. I would eat 1 piece of bread with peanut butter a day just so I wouldn't get into ketosis (I don't know enough about keto/pregnancy to mess…

Butter chicken with oopsie rolls instead of naan bread is usually what I make! You can sprinkle garlic on the rolls for garlic "naan".

If you are insulin resistant like I am I'd stay away from the high carb options or you'll end up with a big ol carb headache by the end of it and be knocked out of ketosis. Mexican restaurants have the BEST low carb options! I'd get fajitas and ask to swap rice/beans for veggies. I get a huge platter that's probably meant…

5ft 7 SW: 308 CW: 251 GW: 150 I got a new fitbit scale which bumped me back into the 250s as soon as I used it. Maybe my old scale wasn't accurate? Anyway, back to fighting to get back into the 240s so no recorded weight loss this week.

Usually I get that way when something is going on in my personal life, and until I solved it it didn't stop. In my case I was living with crazy in laws that tried to control what I cooked or how I cooked. They are very narcissistic and emotionally abusive people. I moved out as fast as I could, but until I did, I struggled…

Total cholesterol? Did you get a lipid panel back? Cholesterol breaks down into different sections - HDL (good), LDL (can be bad), and Triglycerides (bad!). If your Triglycerides are lowering, that's a good sign. High HDL is a good thing and can boost your total cholesterol count which is why the total is sometimes…

I might be biased but whatever milk has the lowest amount of sugar. Raw milk is the absolute best, but not a lot of states allow it to be sold. It has all the beneficial bacteria in it that is REALLY good for your gut health. It's loaded with vitamins and minerals. https://draxe.com/raw-milk-benefits/ Next best might be…

I don't have a blood monitor, but I have not eaten anything that would spike my glucose today. Just coffee and heavy cream so far.

I use it every now and then but don't go out of my way to use it every day either. I prefer olive oil and avocado over coconut oil as a fat. Now if I'm feeling snacky and I have the calorie room, I'll make a fat bomb using coconut oil and low sugar peanut butter, freeze it and have it as a treat. It's not a miracle cure…
