I have both, and I use them for different things. If you're doing heavy cardio - are you eating your exercise calories? That might have something to do with the hunger. Eat the calories burnt, the deficit is included in the calculation.

I try and go by measurements / body fat. In the last 6 months my measurements have gone from 38 - 35 - 39.75 and 33% body fat to 36.75 - 32.25 - 37.25 and 27% body fat. I haven't lost any weight. Curlformers. I have curly hair, which is usually a mess. When I want a polished "spent hours with a curling iron" look I use curlformers. With enough gel/mousse you could get them to hold well. (I don't need much because my hair holds the curl.)
