Hi, I was given this link: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 it explains everything you need to know when you are starting, including TDEE and BMR. It is crazy, I found out I have a BMR of more than 1300 cals.... and for a good while I ate 1200. I am now set at more…

When I see a body THAT full of muscles like the one in the pic, I think he would would spend more time working out than staying with me. I give to everyone the benefit of the doubt, but would not approach this person. If he would come to me (unlikely anyhow) I would be willing to start a friendship.

This is hard. Have you tried some exercise at home? This would at least save you the trip to the gym and can fit it into small 15 min slots. Any chance your husband could bring the kids to school to leave you some free time? Good luck!

you don't want to loose weight, you want to tone up. Follow this advice here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 Which I am sure will bring you to increase (YES, increase!) you calorie intake and eat more. However follow also the advice about how to break down your…

1) is what I have been doing, but my HRM does not accurately measure calories with weight lifting, I have learned... 3) height 5.2, weight 146ish, activity level in between sedentary and light moderate (depending on the day), age 32, body fat % not sure, maybe 20%, is it possible for an unfit person?

don't take any extra vitamin, just what you get in your food naturally. Unless you have a doctor advice/prescription, in normal healthy conditions extra vitamins can be dangerous for you.

Hey you can add me as friends. I have an open diary and you can see that I have had ups and down. My weight loss is very slow, I lost just 2 pounds in 2 weeks. I think that you should see this as a scheme to develop an healthy eating habit with no food dependency. Don't look at how fast you loose, look at how much better…

My husband does not track and eats chocolate in front of me every evening ... he thinks it is healthy (???!!!). You cannot change other ppl, you can only change yourself. The others may follow, who knows.... My suggestion to you is, when he snacks, do smth else that you like (take a bath? try meditation?), or go out for a…

take some ricotta cheese (good quality one, I suggest Belgioioso or similar). Fresh is even better. Add some sugar (to your taste) and some liquor (limoncello would be perfect, but any other can do) and freeze it in cups. Remove it from the freezer before dinner and by the end of your meal it will be soft... sprinkle it…

To all of you who said above that need support, please feel free to add me. One time a friend of mine said that the type of training she was doing felt really good... after she had overcome the phase of "I want to pass out". I know sport is hard and I have never been a sporting type in my life (I am still not), but I can…

Hey you can add me.... We can do this together....

If you are loosing weight, you should definitely eat back the exercise calories. It will also keep you satisfied and you will be less likely to cheat. If you have reached a plateau, and not really loosing, then I agree, try cutting your calorie intake a little more (not drastically!) and don't eat all the calories from…

Never do strength training two days in a row. Also alternate with cardio (i.e. 10 min run , 10 min weight). I was like you and did bootcamp and the arm strength was one of the first things to improve. Just keep doing it, but as others have said don't rush it. Start with light weights...

Welcome! You can add me if you want. I never fry food and prepare almost always all my meals myself. I have the same problem of portion control though. Get a scale and measure up the food and then log it in to see the calorie amount. It sounds crazy but it makes me feel more full than just eating double portions and…

I have an FT60 and love it. You don't need to go that high, I know many ppl who have FT4 and are happy. I found a good deal for which this more updated model was at the same cost as the FT4, so I bought it. I use it every time I do sport and it is great to properly calculate the calories burned. I have seen others with…

Thank you for the support! Today I managed to eat within my calories and exercise. The evenings are the most difficult times for me, because that's when my craving starts. Is it common? I have heard that a good way to overcome the craving is to think carefully how one feels in that moment. The feeling may be associated…
