I am sorry to read this post but hope you get a new approach to life tomorrow. What is helping me is a mixture of behavioral therapy, stop counting calories, and reading books/watching youtube videos about the subject. I found a book from an author called "J. Spinardi" and she also has some videos and it is helping me. I…

Thanks, the website is very useful. May I ask you from which store did you buy your salba?

My diary is open. You can check out the meals for suggestions. I promise it is all "healthy food". I am 5.3' and I have eaten over 2000 cals today. I feel ok, not too full. As some ppl have said stop drinking fat-free or low-fat milk. 2 cups of full fat milk in the morning are a good start for increasing your calories…

Best reply ever :)

I am 5.2' and was eating 1200 (eating back exercise calories) for a while, and lost 12 pounds. Needless to say I gained them all back. Now, I eat 1900 for maintenance, and I eat 1600-1800 for weight loss. I exercise 3 times/week for about 45 min, but I have a job that allows me to easily make 10000 steps/day. With your…

I wish it would be that easy, but there is no sport that could compensate for half a jar in one sitting :( EDIT: this was for nope31

I am addicted to nutella..... the only solution for me is not to buy it at all. The portion control does not work and I won't never be able to fit it in my macro, at least not the amount that I will end up eating. I totally feel you OP, but I am afraid there is no solution rather than stay away from it. Isn't it what…

Yep, I will! ;) I will feel like a better workout, more like what I thought it should be.

Thanks! That's why it looked to me as a Jillian Michael's DVD and not strength training at first! I will try it out properly at the week-end! Thanks so much for your help!

Oh dear! I think I was doing the whole stage 1A in 1 go in one training session, and stage 1B in 1 go for the second training session! So if I understand it correctly, is this what I have to do in the very first training session of stage 1? -2 x 15 reps of squats -1 x 15 reps of push up -1 x 15 rep of seated row -1 x 15…
-
Uhm...yes. It sounds a lot, I know.. In fact I have to use much lower weight than I could squat, in order to sustain the high reps.
-
Thanks for your replies. I am new to lifting, yes, so it is possible it is taking me longer, but now I am in the second week, so I kind of know what I should be doing, and it is still taking me over an hour. Here is what I did for stage 1A for example: -2 x 15 reps of squats -1 x 15 reps of push up -1 x 15 rep of seated…

sorry but I am sure where the deal with the customer service's weight is... or even with the other customer's weight... If I shop there it is b/c I want to buy smth that I want wear. I would not ask the customer service to try it out for me... So what does other's ppl weight or appearance matter?

Is this a troll?

I have had a similar experience and ended up binging on pasta, which has never happened to me before! I just think that sometimes doctors are not trained properly and, in nutritional science, there is still a lot of broscience going on even for doctors. I disregard every comment she gave me on carbs now.

this is very inspirational.... may I ask your height and daily activity level (moderate activity?)? My daily calorie goal is about the same as yours, and I am interested to compare what other ppl who have been successful here set their calorie goal to be. I am going to the gym in few minutes :) Thx! EDIT: I saw this info…

Kalona organic cottage cheese from Whole Foods. It is the ONLY one w/o preservatives and other bad stuff... at least in my area. if you eat cottage cheese read the label of the other brands and you'll be surprised how many artificial ingredients there are in those.

Hi, pls show this to your GF: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/804985-this-is-how-hard-it-is-to-reach-1200-calories Another idea (my lunch today) is 3 eggs omelet with cottage cheese (1 cup) and avocado + baked kale chips. If you have a juicer add some fruit/veggie juice to reach a 1000+ meal.

5 times a day. I don't care about what time of the day I eat.

Nice motivational post! Thx! Hubby is away so I was planning to work all day. I guess this has to include a work-out too! Have a good week-end.

Thank you very much for the link! and thanks to everyone for the replies.

nobody using these? :( I could use your opinion!

All the above is good advice, but it's a mental thing. Work on mind most of all. I feel you totally, b/c I have a similar problem too. I have now controlled the munching by logging on MFP before to eat it. This gives you an idea of the calories. Even better, I log my entire day the day before, so if I feel I want to munch…

You will have to go to the bathroom :) This is the best way to achieve going to the bathroom when you can't! Eat peanut butter instead?
-
that sounds soooooo good
-
Just ate 600 cal worth of chocolate.... what's the problem? Fit it in your daily caloric intake. I hope it's not 1200 :) My first big victory is to stop hating myself when I eat more than I should have and get on with my life. In other words the first big victory is with your mind, not your body. Work for conquering this…
