I just turned 30 in December and I'm feeling it. I've put on about 30lbs in two years. Life, some major surgery, and not taking care of myself. I'm looking to lose the weight and get stronger. I am dealing with addictions and some other unrelated health issues, so it is difficult not to get discouraged.

MFP is really weird with that as I've been logging in daily from several different computers and it said I haven't logged in for a month, so I wouldn't be so certain. :)

My longterm boyfriend is 38, I'm 25. I have had an additional longstanding relationship with a man who is 44 and another that is 35. I've always dated older men in my life. I'm the girl who had a 19 year old boyfriend when I was HS. And no - he wasn't a creeper.

I have consistently dated older men - the oldest had 35 years on me - and they have been amazing and vaulable relationships. I am currently in a long-term (we'll celebrate 4 years in Sept) with a man 13 years my senior and couldn't be happier. I'm 25 and he's 38. :)

Thanks all! I am currently doing the 30DS for my weight training and cardio. I am going to pick up some 5lb weights tomorrow - been working with 2lbs. Any tips on what strength exercises I could do at home with hand weights for someone with REALLY bad knees? Thanks again!

I tend to have vodka or gin and soda water with a splash of juice. Otherwise I just do shots.

Hi! I'm on my 3rd or 4th day of level 2. I can tell you - my endurance has skyrocketed. And I even stayed on level 1 longer than the 10 days. I am having the same issue - seeing inches but not pounds. I'm only about a week into it and have had to start and stop a few times due to illness so we'll see. Glad to see that my path isn't just mine. :)
