did you know that 90n mins of painting is about 490 calories? me neither! Am still going to get in my cardio (don't know yet) and core (ZWOW#24) before my son gets home from his fishing trip with my dad.
-
cardio for me today might just be hours of painting...going to a work bee this morning-getting to help paint a restored train station from 100 years ago. Will also try and get some real sweating in. Good work to the plyo's and cardioX'ers out there!

Don't use shakeology for the same reason as the others. rather eat than drink my protein. I try to eat clean, but I won't be following the P90X food guide most of the time. as long as I track my foods and I'm brutally honest with myself over it, I lose pounds, because I'm conscious of what I eat.

1-2) Shoulders and Arms + ARX doing a hybridized version of my own making. Got in Chest and Back yesterday on a whim, but today is my day 1. I plan on rotating through all of the ST workouts once before repeating them, so next is CST, then BB. Cardio will be either Rushfit, kenpo, ZWOW's on off days until my ankle is 1…

Wow, Corey! What great progress! look at the bf% and inches you've lost! Amazing job!!

bump, oh yum!

starting tomorrow so my day 1 is monday. will post my starting stats then. I've done a few rounds of P90X and am working with an almost healed sprained ankle, so am modifying things so that i can do them pain free. I am ready to get started! p.s., Happy Canada Day!

That is GOOD! it's fantastic that it's still hard. When it gets easy, its time to change it up or get heavier weights/ bigger loops in your bands! if you are dripping with sweat and exhausted when you are done, I feel that that has been a great workout.

am beginning a p90x hybrid that will let me work with a sprained ankle. so Plyo, cardio, legs and back are out for now, and modifying the others as needed. Starting Monday as D1 add me if you like

This starting back is hard. I've got a lot of excuses, legit ones, too. I am late, but I'll start my 2 week goals now. 1. eat clean 80% of the time 2. ST 3 times a week, as P90X or Spartacus 3. Cardio 2 times a week, Hiit or ZWOW (although ZWOW's are a lot of ST) 4. log my foods, even if I'm embarrassed about what I've…

Wow, a lot going on right now! Those recipes sound delish! Pistol squats look scary and i've tried them, holding onto a doorjamb for balance and help! OMG they are hard. If you can do them, you are da woman! I finally got in another workout today! Go ME! I did Zuzana's ZWOW #22, and Spartacus, both modified so that I…

I'm 5'6 as well. lost 90 pounds over 3 years and have been hovering between 175 and 169. I want to get back down to 155 (this time last year). love to chat to other ladies that are on the same path... BMI says 155 is the top of my healthy weight range, but I think BMI can stuff it. I looked good and had a lower bf% then,…

Congrats, Mama on a well run race! Hope your tummy issues are working out as well. I've been on a personal time-out. This is a bad habit of mine that I need to break: when I get injured, I withdraw from mfp, and just wallow. But I got to see the chrioprodist the other day and she told me that my ankle pain is really a…

have to mention that i had to go to my knees for 2 rounds of the pushup rows...I'm starting over.

Beeps, congrats on the victories! I'm Canadian, too! And do the pounds for weight and feet/inches for height as well. My efforts today to get in a ST have been sidelined. I messed up my ankle last week, running, and it's just killing me today. I thought I'd be able to get in some ST once we got home from my son's soccer,…

as soon as I can heal I'll be with you doing the burpees, just a little late on the challenge. I love to hate them...question: do you do them with a push up, or just plank, or is it a personal preference as long as you are consistent?

Hi everyone, I'd like to join if I can. I've done P90X before and 30 DS. right now, I'm nursing a sore tendon in my ankle, so have to be careful with what I do. No running or jumping/explosive stuff. But I can still strength train, and if I stand on it the right way I can still do squats and shallow lunges. I am not giving…

hey all, I joined this board a while ago, but only now just 'got on'. I've lost 90+ pounds over the last 3 years. I re-gained about 20 from my lowest weight of 154 lbs this past year. I'm 5'6" and do home workouts with dvd's or online trainers, like Zuzuka Light. I don't care as much about re-losing the weight back to 154,…

I have ab definition, after being overweight my entire life up until 3 years ago including pregnancy, I now have abs. they are not cut, because I do not have a low body fat %, but you can see that there are deffo sections! it is possible.

you had me up until the comment about making a commitment to shakeology. that and I'm having thyroid surgery at the end of july. plus, i like to make my own schedule and meal plans.

I've been using chia seeds for about 2 weeks. I really like them. I mix them with yogurt or with lemon water. There are a lot of informational sites out there that can tell you all about the chia seed. It's a real superhero kinda thing. Needs a cape.

Moderation is hard for me, too. I cut out all added sugars for a week. natural sugars, like in fruits, grains, etc are ok, but no sugars that have to be added to foods were allowed. it was really hard, and ketchup did find its way to my plate. But I told my family and friends that I was doing this. I was holding myself…

Get more muscle (not body builder style, unless you want it) Muscle is denser than fat and thus when you gain muscle, you lose inches, but might weigh more. Don't Panic. Muscle also helps the body burn more calories. Put away your scale and only let it out once a week. Use your tape measure and clothing to show your…

make some tea, let it completely cool. soak a washcloth and place on the burned areas, the tannin in the tea helps. or just make a really REALLY strong pot, and once it's stepped, pour it in a cool bathtub and just soak.

I've gone through it 3 times now and loves the results! now I'm back at it again as an almost beginner (back injury) just finishing week 3. I add in RushFit on cardio days other than plyo. Remember that you probably won't see a lot of progress until into the second month. It's there all they way through, it just seems that…
