Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I am going to really work at being on MFP daily to track foods and exercise and get more involved in the community, too. I met a friend at the local Timmes today and only had tea! so that is a step in the right direction. and so far I'm on track with my tracking, too! I'm…

I'm just starting my second month on first round of X3. Thinking of Body beast next. You really like it?

Heading into Block 2 on Feb 2. You can do it!

I honestly have no idea if there is a P90X3 group. If so, I'd love to join. I'm in the middle of week 3. But MFP does not have a search function to find groups right now-which is not cool. I've posted in their tech questions about it. I think the more people who do ask about a search might make it happen. squeaky wheels...

My vote is fitnessblender.com don't worry, they have a youtube channel and have over 400 workouts that vary in length from 7 mins to over an hour (1000 cal burn). you can go to either site, or check out their facebook page for their most recent uploads. They are uploading a vid a day in January!

I just started P90X3 this week! I'm 5'6 and want to lose 30+ pounds but mainly am concerned with inches. I'll be a week ahead of you, but we can all motivate each other!

Hi, I'm Katy. I am a kindy teacher and have 1 son-8 years old. I'm 37 at 5'6" and am around 185 (I think). I've done a lot of BB programs in the past, but have lapsed a lot and have regained a lot of the weight and inches I had lost. I'm starting back with P90X3 to get me back on track. Upping my macros, because even…

Just got my P90X3! can't wait until Monday to start! Will begin as the new work week starts to keep it in my schedule.

My DH talked to a friend who is with the police. this dog has already been reported for violent behaviour while with the previous owners, and the only reason he didn't bite skin is because my son was already moving away. I agree that the dog should not have been put under those kind of stressful conditions, and there needs…

I am drooling. going to have to get spinach tomorrow!

motivation can be really hard, especially if you have pain from an old injury. Have you checked with your doctor about it? Or go in to see a physiotherapist? They might be able to help with the pain, or give you ideas to work with it. One thing that motivates me is that I make a commitment to myself to workout. I write it…

i use chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark) and almonds. I'm a muncher, so the more time i have to savour my chocolate, the better. if I'm not up to almonds, I'll mix the chocolate chips in with vanilla greek yogurt. Yum!

Hi! I'm doing a Asylum, Insanity, P90X hybrid! Love to hear what others think of Insanity and Asylum! they are both crazy hard and I still have to stop and catch my breath all the time, or look at the screen in shock and awe.

It can be hard to get motivated and stay motivated. The thing that works for me is that I schedule it in to my day. It's on my wall calendar. I know what workout I'm doing when I get home. It's not a hem and haw about it. It's a "I've got it on my calendar so I'd better do it". Plus I use a non-food reward everyday. You…

I agree with Strangegirlz, BMI is misleading. It does not take into account muscle mass, bone density or body frame. I'm 5'6.5". I'm at 168 right now and when I get to 150 (which I did over the summer, due to surgery recovery) I looked really scarily skinny. Pick one thing to really focus on as your measurement. BF%,…

Day 1 done! Chest and Back and Cardio Abs! Tomorrow is Plyo!
-
Yep, I'm going to do the short one then if I'm up for it, continue with the longer one. I may even switch out some of the ab routines (ARX etc...with some from fitness blender and ZWOW) just to keep it interesting

Thanks! I start April 1st. I just finished a round of P90X and am taking this week off. I'm finding it hard not to do anything after work for the whole week. I hope I can keep it up!

Like those prison cell push ups! still cannot do the dreya roll. I have to give them a try at school with a good mat. then I might have the confidence to try them at home....or just bring a mat home one weekend and practice! 9 days! you are almost there! I am very proud of you! This is an amazing accomplishment!
-
ok. so here's the deal, after playing with stuff, I can make this a 90 day (13 week) program or a 126 day (19 week) program. hoo! i had it all in cool like then realized I didn't have any recovery weeks, for other stuff and stretching etc....so adding those without taking out the other weeks made it hella long. so my…

silence is deadly. I've been silent because i haven't been going as i hoped. but i won't let that deter me. it just means i need to be more flexible in my schedules and do the right things. i got both mon and tues workouts done on tues. my son's hockey comes before my workouts, and although the regular season is over, he's…

LAST DAY DONE!! I am so glad! Asylum Game Day is really tough and a true solid hour. It rotates through a lot of different sports and training exercises, from tennis, to rock climbing, to wrestling, baseball, and speed skating. Just when you think one exercise is the worst you've ever done, along comes another...1 handed…

Check out the book "New Rules for Lifting for Women" (Men can use it, too) it's a great way to get started! If I had all the equipment and space you do, that's what I'd be working on. For me, I have to wait until fairer weather so I can use my deck and paint cans for weights. (only have small weight dumbbells right now)…

Well, change of plans. Good thing I'm flexible! No time this morning to get in my workout, and no time once I got home to do it, either. So today is officially my rest day and tomorrow will be my last march break doubles day. I have to say I'm liking the Asylum and Insanity workouts mixed in with P90X and ftnessblender.…
