I have mild arthritis in my hips. I am a distance runner so this is hard for me. I try to run on soft surfaces, grass, or trail as much as possible. late to be adding, but.....another vote for Polar HRM. I have used Polar for many years and....think I am on my 4th monitor! (I've had different versions). "bump" means bumping to topic by adding to it, so it shows up at the top of the message board list.

I would not count it as water. The reason being is there is artificial sweetener in it. There is a lot of speculation that your body reacts the same way as it does to sugar, by releasing insulin. I'm 5'0.....started 3 days ago at 117. Trying to get to 105 (ideally!) but would be happy 107-108. It is HARD.

This is helpful, as...this is only day 2 for me, and I have not "eaten calories burned". I think I am afraid to, as...I really want to lose these stubborn pounds.
