I agree with MaryB. The scale doesn't give you the whole story. Though you may not be losing weight, you may very well still be losing fat but GAINING muscle. Congratulations! I love these success stories! It works to motivate me to reach my goals as well! They give me a "no excuse" attitude. If someone can be successful in losing 150 lbs, then I can certainly lose the 40 I have set as a goal. AMAZING JOB!!

Sounds like fun! I unfortunately don't have a *ton* of money to do things like that. I just bought myself a new bike a couple weeks ago and that was a great purchase! not as a reward but to get me out and active. Tools for a healthy lifestyle are totally worth it.

I typically don't count any kind of housework towards exercise or calories used. I suppose I'm a purist when it comes to exercise. If it gets your heart rate up and it is intentional (i.e. resistance or cardio) then i count it. Otherwise, it's just everyday life :)

I discovered Bolthouse Farm's dressings at my grocer. They are mostly yogurt based and are DELICIOUS. and they're almost the same price as the normal stuff you find on the shelf (ie hidden valley or kraft). Low cals, no preservatives.
