Almost ten days out of the month I am around 5lbs higher. Typically around 3 days before TOM and a day or two after. Stay with it, maybe stay away from the scale for ten days or so and then check your progress. You can do this!!

I'm a total nerd, but I love listening to audio books or podcasts while I walk. Makes the time fly by!

Old Navy has reasonable priced leggings and the sudsy up much better than most.

Everyday gets a bit easier, however that being said I strongly suggest you allow yourself some of the treats you love! If you go cold turkey, it probably won't be something you stick with for the long run (took me 6 or 7 times starting and stopping to figure this one out) Just save up some calories and enjoy that ice cream…

I have been there! I work anywhere between 45 to 70 hours a week, am getting my MBA, have yet kids both in sports, and so on. I have tried so many times and failed. I think you have to stop using being busy as an excuse and just make it happen. You can do this!

I decide if I want the food enough to either skip out on something else later (glass of wine, part of dinner, etc.) OR if I am willing to add extra cardio that day. If I don't want it bad enough to do one of those two, I just walk away. If I do, I am giving up something later.

The whole time I am running, I think about the delicious food I get to enjoy! No shame!

Add me! :)

At night after dinner and a glass of wine, I brush my teeth. Sounds weird but it works for me to make sure I don't eat anything else. Best of luck to you!!

Just do it.... seriously you will thank yourself. A year from now you will be thinner, healthier, and have created a new healthy lifestyle for your family. It will no longer become an inconvenience and you will impress everyone with your crazy ability to know how many calories are in about everything! ;) From one working…

I am 5'9" and wearing a 12 but almost ready to move to a 10! My goal is a size 6.

I wouldn't recommend it. You are eating less than 40% of your goal. I'm not sure if I could even function on 40% of my goal, I would be sleeping in a corner! :)

Would love some more friends! Looking for those who are reliable and encouraging!!

Could just be where you are at in your cycle as well. I gain between 3 to 5 pounds a few days prior to my period.
-
I also tend to listen to my body. If I am feeling extra hungry, I eat. Often times I will add to my work out or do a quick 20 minute at home workout but other times I dont. Adding 200 calories once in awhile isn't going to stop me from hitting my goals. Feeling tired, hungry, and beaten down will.

Apple cider vinegar or cottage cheese.

Being able to rock some white skinny jeans this year!!

I agree, I am a coffee fan and always drank it with creamer and sugar. I have found that vanilla almond milk (non sweetened) is a delicious addition to my coffee and I am not mad at myself for drinking 100 calories! Some days when I am needing something a bit sweeter, I add coconut sugar. Delicious!!

I have had the jawbone for about a year and a half and am now on my 8th one. Seems like something always malfunctions. There is a new band coming out called the Amiigo. I would strongly recommend looking into that one. The stuff it can do (IMO) is going to be the best on the market, only downside is it doesn't come out…

I have had the jawbone for about a year and a half and have been through seven (something always malfunctions). After doing a lot of research I came across a new band that is coming out that has a lot of pretty neat functions, the Amiigo. I like all the functions it offers, just hope that it holds up since it is brand new.…

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, however for running outside I prefer the 'rundouble' app. I like that it tells me my distance and also tracks my previous runs so I can see how much I am improving. Happy trails! :)

If I am honest, there are two reasons why. First being I didn't want my children to be embarrassed to have 'a chunky mom' and secondly skinny jeans! Not the best reasons to start, but it was enough for me to start which has inspired me to stop complaining and start doing. Wish you the best of luck!

This just may be my favorite posts ever! This is so refreshing to see, all you mommies look AMAZING! My son will be 5 in December and I still have my mommy tummy, however I am determined this is my year to get back down to my pre-pregnancy weight. Seeing this pictures helps reassure me that I can get there. Great job…

This may be a little TMI... however, I find that depending on where I am in my cycle (close to ovulating or getting my period) I swing between 3-5 lbs heavier. Not sure if this is the case with you or not, but I wouldn't worry to much about it. Another suggestion would be to do your measurements instead of relying on the…

Keep in mind that the rule of 64 oz a day is outdated. The general rule of how much water you should consume is your weight ÷ 2. example... you weigh 150 lbs, you should have 75 oz a day. best of luck to you!

Qwest cookies & cream. Makes my mouth water just thinking of those little pieces of heaven!

I really like Advocare's Sparks energy drink. Always gives me the energy I need!
-
Make sure you are drinking enough water! Your weight divided by two= how many ounces you should be consuming each and everyday!!

From my personal experience, they can be very motivating when you are feeling like you aren't seeing enough results! I pull mine out every few months so I can see that all this hard work is worth it!! Good luck!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to check back in and see how everyone is doing. I have only been doing the shred since Wednesday and let me tell you I am sore! :) I still can't get through it without stopping it once or twice, however I am determined to get there. I am normally a very active person that it just suprises me that…
