  • Between 100-125 for me! :)
  • What's Jubilee weekend?
  • The links on this thread have been pretty interesting, enough that I want to try it. Mostly because I struggle with eating when not hungry (even when I know I'm not hungry), so I'm hoping a fasting method will help me get better self control. It sounds like it works for a lot of people, enough so that it's worth a try to…
  • I plan to play some Sims 3, and either hula hoop or jog at some point today. Going to make sure I get my water in too. I've gotten to the point where as long as I get my water in, I can forgive myself a higher calorie day.
  • I've gotten to where I can keep it up for about a spin or two. :D Not much progress, but progress nonetheless.

  • I know! I had one as a kid too and remembered loving it, so I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things.

  • My diary is open, I believe, though I tend to eat too much junky food. :\ I want to join this. I'm approx 5"0, 5"1, and definitely over the poundage listed.
  • I put an exercise up with a rough estimate based off the data given in the thread. I underestimated it slightly, so if there is a margin of error it's a beneficial one.

  • This was really helpful! Thank you! I'm thrilled to see all the responses. :D

  • Thanks morninglili! It's just a normal hula hoop, so it's probably lower on the calorie burning, but it was so colorful and bright that I just had to get one. Right now it's mostly falling, but I hope to get better!

  • If it's in coffees, try flavored (even sugar free) creamers to get the sweetness without added sugar.
  • I have the same issue. I LOVED sweet tea. Adored it. Decided to give it up for Lent because some coworkers were giving up foods as well. What I did was drink some flavored water. Honestly it's not the same, and I do get cravings for the sugary goodness, but I'd try to distract myself if the water didn't work.
  • Thanks for the links! I've been floating near the edges for a while, so this challenge might be the best way to just dive in!
  • cw: 190ish gw:180 What I'll do: Keep limiting carbs and sugars; limit non-water drinks, double water intake. :) I've made some progress, I've cut out sweet tea completely.
  • Awesome! I did the same, saw nothing, and figured I'd make the group. It seems like a great way to get and stay fit. I wouldn't want to lug around extra fat and jump around. XD
  • Age: 22 Height: 5'0 SW: 194 CW: 190 GW: 125 - - - I'm waaay too short to be so round. =\
  • Hey there! I understand what you mean - eating between classes is tough, especially when you have limited time and choices. Going to the gym is fun, but hard to find time for. :)
  • I have a goal to lose a lot as well! I'm hoping to lose at least 75lbs or more. :( 22, no kids yet, but I'm hoping to be in better shape for my graduation walk in May.
  • Welcome! The site is pretty fun, and hopefully it'll help you reach your goals happily and healthily!
  • Lol, I hadn't thought of that. I will admit I'm not Catholic though, but maybe I'll pretend for Lent. ;)
  • I'll keep that in mind - thanks!
  • I'm talking more about processed sugar, I pretend that the sugars in fruit don't exist, and I haven't noticed an issue with that. I've noticed it after a few glasses of sweet tea that I feel pretty cruddy. I'm a student, and we only recently got a campus place that sells fresh vegetables and such; normally I don't have…
  • I've had the account long enough that I figured I should come back and be active, since my personal methods weren't working. I'm a 21 year old college student weighing close to 200lbs, amost wider around than tall. D: So I decided to come to the community. Everyone seems nice. Hopefully I'll be able to help and be helped;…
