Thanks again everyone! I've been slacking lately, but I'm back to logging in regularly and I'm teaching Zumba again...still trying to lose these last 5 pounds. I appreciate the kind words and encouragement!

This is an INCREDIBLE accomplishment! I am SO PROUD of you! You may not realize, but the inspiration that some will receive from this post alone will SAVE LIVES! God Bless You for being such a GREAT EXAMPLE Congratulations!!!!

thanks again for the kind words and the friend adds! In the last picture, I meant to say it was taken in November not February. Best wishes to all of you in reaching your fitness goals!!!

I got your message. You asked "When did you start seeing results?" My stomach was droppy and "dark" for about 2 months. It started to lighten up (and match the rest of my skin) around the 3rd month. I didn't start to see my ab muscles until about 4 months postpartum. If you look really closely at the front shot, I still…

Hey everyone, thanks again for all the kind words! I haven't been able to log into MFP as much as I use to because I'm at work and always on the run. I know that I am the type of person who gets inspired when I see someone else accomplish a goal that I have set for myself, that's why I posted the pictures. I'm telling you,…

Good job! (just take the spaces out of the img part of the code and they will show up :-)

It is possible! I actually have THREE kids. Ages 12, 10 and 8 months. I am 33 years old now, healthier than I was in high school! ;-)

yeah, it works, I was so afraid to do it because I didn't want to gain weight. I'm glad I did though, the yo yo diet really works to re-start your metabolism and lose weight again!

I admit, I was a MANIAC, LOL! When I was about 4 weeks postpartum, I just took mile long walks everyday. I drank water exclusively for 6 weeks and healthy meals. I was in the gym EVERYDAY. I didn't have a trainer at first, I just did group fitness classes. I focused on the cardio classes then moved up to toning and…

Yes, but mostly for "bonding." She doesn't get enough from me to "fill her up." I recommend EVERY new mom to breastfeed if she can! :-)

LOL! that's funny you say that, my husband calls me "pancake" booty now! It use to be much bigger, I kinda liked it, but sometimes you can't tell your body "where" to lose the fat! ha! Thanks so much for the kind words everyone!

You should really take "before and after" photos. I didn't notice a change looking in the mirror, but when I looked at my photos, I was like WHOA! especially in my arms. As long as your clothes feel like they are getting loose, I think you're on the right path. Just don't get discouraged!

I am SO PROUD OF YOU! Congrats on your new life!!! owwwww!!!

Thanks again everyone, I think I added most of you as friends, if not, please send me a request. I'll share my updated progress sometime in December! Best wishes to all of you!

ugh! this is a positivity OVERLOAD! LOL! You guys are GREAT, thanks so much for the nice words, its hard to keep up with everyone. I actually have a Postpartum Weight Loss diary on my website: http://www.mariamore.com As far as the stomach flab questions, I think the BIGGEST part of my success was that I didn't wait long…

Thanks again everyone. And for the person who asked about how I got my stomach down, I was on a high fiber diet, I did lots of cardio at first to get rid of the fat then added resistance training.

Yes, I was VERY confused. LMBO! I was trying to be polite and not say anything...you never know...hahahaha! congrats on your success!
-
that's awesome!! thanks so much for sharing, I am hoping to get down to less than my pre pregnancy weight as well! congrats!

Actually, my baby is breast and bottle fed. This wasn't because of my 1200 calorie a day diet though, it was because I had to go back to work. My BMR is only 1350 calories, so 1200 calories is almost the same thing. The big change was the "type" of foods I was eating and how frequently I ate. I also found a really great…

How inspiring! and you don't look like 137 in the after picture, more like 120! WOW WOW WOW! Go girl! Thanks for sharing, a lot of people will look at this and find motivation because of you! Congrats!!!

Thanks for all the responses everyone! I am sending everyone on here a friend request! :-)

yep, I'm still breastfeeding @Carmiel, it sounds like we have similar goals. Doing Zumba is great, it burns 400-700 calories per class, as far as food, I've been really paying attn to my calorie intake, using the daily food log on mfp is very helpful!
-
Congrats Jes! that is VERY inspiring! I'd love to get down to 120 myself, your story is very motivating!

Hey lady, thanks for the response, I just joined 3 days ago (7/15) myself. You're lucky to have only gained 19 pounds during your pregnancy! I ate ALOT while I was pregnant! lol! I taught Zumba classes before my pregnancy and plan to start teaching them again once I get my fitness level back up, I'm hoping that will help…
