My fitbit tracker still sync's to MFP. I have on occasion over the years had it stop but I removed it and readded it and it worked again.

From 127 to 180 is not a little bit of weight, 53lbs is a pretty significant weight change. If someone were to lose 50lbs people would be jumping up and down congratulating them because it is significant. I would agree with others that if you were unaware this weight gain had entered the unheathly realm and that you are…

Nice recognition for your accomplishment!

Yes it is going to be hard. Stick with it though, do what you can no matter how little and each time try to push yourself a little more and a little more. You will be surprised how quick it will take for it to start getting "easy".

I find that when I'm lifting weights with cold or allergies I can breathe better then before I started, in fact almost perfect but eventually after I stop I go back to not being able to breathe. This is when I'm lifting, not doing cardio. I never try cardio when I have a cold or allergies because I'm usually on some type…

Trader Joe's popcorn and cans of Zevia. I buy a large ice at concession and that is it :D

As others have said it doesn't exactly taste like "regular" peanut butters so i quickly abandoned trying to eat it on toast BUT it does make for a great flavor additive when cooking. We use it most often when making homemade stirfry's and we want to add a Thai peanut flavor to the sauce without all the extra cals and…

If you want to be healthy focus on 1 lb a week. That will get you to 24lbs in 6 months. You didn't gain 50lbs in 6 months, don't expect to take it off in 6 months. 24lb loss is a goal to be happy with and when you meet it hopefully you will feel good about your progress, translating to you feeling good about yourself.

This happens to most people that I've talked to that use the elliptical. I get around it by scrunching up my feet every few steps, or picking me foot up off the pedal every so often. Both of these help to restore blood flow. I've never heard WHY it happens

Brand makes all the difference in the world! I never eat fat free - taste like crap. I buy the Trader Joe's small curd and I love it with salt and pepper. I recently ran out and was not at Trader Joe's so I bought Horizons...awful! If I tried Horizons first I would not be a cottage cheese eater today. Shop around and buy…

This - OR get a pedometer (i have a fitbit) to count your steps throughout the day. If you get the fitbit it will sync with MFP and add in your calorie burn that you get through how active you are

I have the Fitbit One and I love it! Yes I think it is a worthy purchase. They offer many different options, make sure you compare the different ones to get one with all the options you are looking for.

I would say just stick with the corn chips but stay in your calories. Search around, read the back of each bag to find the ones with the lowest calories and then only eat the serving amount that stays under. Win win! stay under cals and still enjoy the taste of the foods you like. Moderation.

Sounds like you are not willing to work on the amount of food you are allowing yourself to eat and if that is the case then you must up your activity level so that you are burning more then you are eating. The work you have started to do so far with the elliptical and squats is great, but do more, keep pushing yourself. Go…

I like it but its a completely different food for me, there is NO replacing my pb. When I want a pb sammich or pb & crackers I'm not gonna be reaching for almond butter. BUT, almond butter and banana......YUMMY!

Not everyone works M-F 9-5, shift work people have to get their workouts in at some point.

I think many of us have these same problems during that time of month. For me I try to stay as active as possible, even if its just a walk or a light bike ride in the park and I find that it helps, but its not like I'm going to go out and do crossfit or Julian Michaels or P90X when I'm feeling miserable. As someone else…

Mine doesnt have any of your requested fruits but this is the one I drink daily and I think it taste good (I even have nieces and nephews that like it and they dont like anything "healthy" which is exactly why I love giving them this). Keep in mind this makes about 3 glasses: 4 cups Spinach (or kale) 1 cup frozen berries…

There are only a few/select smartphones that you can sync your fitbit with (mine isnt one of them) and you really dont need a smartphone. The fitbit will come with a sync dongle that you plug into USB port in your PC or Laptop and then whenever you are close to that PC and the PC is on the fitibt will sync. I have the…

Whether you are allergic to walnuts or not have nothing to do with you being able to eat peanuts, peanuts are not nuts, they are legumes and most everyone that is allergic to tree nuts are not allergic to peanuts. That being said - GO TO DOCTOR! Also if you think its an allergy try taking a recommended dosage of benadryl…

Its very inspirational to see your before and after pics, you look like a different person! How have you lost the weight that you've lost so far? Was it done by a diet and exercise mix or just one or the other? Even though you lost the weight you might not have really lost much fat, in fact if you were not doing anything to build muscle you might have actually been losing muscle. I would recommend that you start…

I wouldnt listen to them either - there is nothing wrong with women lifting heavy, they need to do their research. Also, congrats on the amazing results - those results dont come without hard work and dedication. Good for you!

Great story! Good for you for not giving up and in pushing yourself forward. Giving up only gets you back to where you started, and if you wanted to be there you never would have started to begin with right? The hardest thing about this type of journey is sticking to it and staying strong even when you hit those hard times…

The banana is what does it for me. The berries help but if my banana isnt ripe enough I can definitely tell the difference and can taste the "green" more
