This is totally sound advice and I thank you for taking the time to reply. I think maybe when I return from holiday I might do this to lose my expected (little) weight gain. I then hope to go back to MFP logging as usual x

I really appreciate everyones contribution to this :) I have considered going really low fat on my own but I think the temptation is always there to eat crap again. At least when im paying for a particulr diet I hope that it will motivate me not to cheat....do you get me?? Shallow I know lol x

Point taken Labrat....Its not so much that I think its a bad idea - I think if I wanted to change to a diet like this for the long term then yes, but its purely a quick fix for hols and thats as much as I expect from it. My problem is I have never been on any form of faddy diet so dont know what to expect at all. Thanks…

ive heard so much about this diet lately and also my husband works offshore and loads of guys there use it and it seems to do the job. I know its a fad diet but I hope it will be ok just for a few weeks.

Love it kyle4jem - very informative! I wont pretend to know too much but I am pro-SNP....I got swept away by 'FREEEEDDDOOOOOMMM' and all that but I'm thinking this isn't going to work :/ I think they may give us our independence when the oil runs dry tho :laugh: x
