  • @merph518 welcome to the group! So excited to hear how your progress is going! :)
  • I love this so much! Congratulations!!!
  • Welcome Betty! This is such a great group and I'm glad you decided to join us! I am sorry about all of your past medical stuff, but hopefully that is all behind you and you can move forward and get healthier! I am on and off here. I was very committed for a while, but some outside factors have taken up a lot of my time,…
  • @bigspoom welcome! Yes, it is totally possible to lose weight simply by watching your intake. I started at 331 and am now at 290. Feel free to friend me!
  • @tammyfranks2 that is amazing news! Good for you! I am also happy that you found what works for you! Keep going girl, you've got this!
  • @bmeadows380 I'm at a loss of words of advice for you. I don't want to tell you something you don't want to hear, or have already heard. Hmmm, you said that you've sought help with depression, it doesn't sound like that has helped. Maybe try working on your mental health first, then your physical health. Different meds…
  • Oh ladies, I am so sorry for all that you were feeling in December. I'm hoping January has brought on new happy silver linings! Anyone???
  • @RunaMarti love your resolution, better health and self love in 2019. Yes, that's what its all about. Following this, will make everything else fall into place. Congrats on your NSV, and I can't wait to see your progress in 2019!
  • @MamaMaryPants Omg!!!!! You did it! You literally did it!!!! I can't tell you how excited I am for you! Don't stop now, keep the momentum going!!!
  • @MamaMaryPants you are sooooo close!!!!! Just keep doing what you are doing and don't quit!!! I can't wait to hear your success story!
  • @bmeadows380 girl you are making me hungry!!!!! No, the melatonin is not like that. It does not make you groggy or make you stay asleep, it just helps you fall asleep then your body does what it does. You really should try it. What have you got to lose? Plus studies show that weight loss is correlated to getting enough…
  • @bmeadows380 important things I heard in your post above: "I did better today than yesterday" Put that one in the win column! "I'm wide awake and rarely fall asleep before midnight." Have you tried some non-habit non-drug thing to help you fall asleep? I used to be in the exact same boat. My husband, tired of me…
  • @bmeadows380 Don't be so hard on yourself, we've all been there. The holidays and winter in itself are hard. So just curious, the whole IF, is this something your doctor is monitoring or is it just you trying something new? Is this how you lost before? It just seems so restrictive that I don't know that I would have the…
  • @MamaMaryPants 7 more lbs to go!!!! That is so amazing! @bmeadows380 How's it going? How's the water weight treating you? @bigghunny those ounces creeping off yet? Me not so much. I started the month at 279 and now I'm at 282. I haven't been eating a ton, but I haven't been feeling good, so I know it's not real weight. Ugh…
  • @MamaMaryPants yes!!! Ending the year under 300 would be AMAZING! You can do it! Focus on your goals, and put all excuses aside! You can rest in January. You've got this!!!! @bigghunny I love your exercise and water goals! At the very least the water one should be doable! As far as "Lose something anything..." I went…
  • @bmeadows380 that darn water weight gets us every time! The thing is we know it is water weight, but it is still such a downer! Keeping my fingers crossed for thursday!
  • @bmeadows380 How's it going for you? Has the IF worked? I am rooting for you and can't wait to hear how you are doing!
  • So my starting weight on November 1st was 275.6. Then I went on vacation and went up 14 lbs to 290. I ended November at 279. So even though I am up 4 lbs from the beginning of the month, I still ended up losing 11 lbs. Let's go December!!!
  • @tammyfranks2 I am so sorry you are going through this! I can imagine how scary and frustrated you must be! Take it one day at a time my friend, or even better, one meal at a time. Be strong, and don't give into the food temptations. Remind yourself that if you do end up having to have surgery, the more weight you can lose…
  • SW: November 1, 2018 = 275.6 November 14, 2018 = 287 CW: November 19, 2018 = 281.2 GAIN: +5.6 (with a total loss of 5.8, but still leaves me in the positive)
  • You all look amazing!!!
  • SW: November 1, 2018 = 275.6 CW: November 14, 2018 = 287 GAIN: +11.4
  • @RunaMarti a 1.4 loss will always be better than a 1.4 gain! Good job! @MamaMaryPants 8 lbs, wow!!!!! Whatever you're doing, keep it up!!!!
  • Hey guys! So hubby and I are back from vacation. We had been planning this for over a year and had an amazing time! We went on a cruise with 6 other couples for 7 days to 5 different islands. We were VERY active, walking, swimming, dancing every day and night. I have never tracked as many steps. But even with that I came…
  • @bmeadows380 the butterflies are the best!!! But you are right in proceeding with caution. Anyone can "say" anything on a keyboard. You can certainly have fun while being careful too. And I wouldn't worry about the whole age thing. The older you get, the smaller the age gap will feel. :)
  • You look amazing! You look so much younger and happier!
  • @RunaMarti I totally get where you are. I feel the same way. I lose a few pounds and then I seem to just sit there at the same weight for a month or 2. It's frustrating. There are times when I start to feel sorry for myself and I really want to give up. But I don't want to be where I was before, and I definitely don't want…
  • Welcome back @CassieBinTC !!! Yay for being cancer free! That's awesome! So glad you are doing well and are back!
  • @CheezWhiz88 thanks for the ideas! I am soooo bad at meal planning! That is one of my biggest weaknesses! I know that I should, but I have never even tried. This morning I got excited because I was able to bring leftovers for lunch. I now have goals, meal plan!!
  • I'm here! Sorry if I've appeared to be MIA. In a nutshell, I am pretty sure that I have lost a little bit -maybe a pound or half a pound - but I want to wait until Monday to weigh in. My goal was to walk 6000 - 8000 steps daily. I have done and or exceeded that. Twice I've actually hit 10,000 (whoa!!). My food intake has…
