Just completed my second week and have lost 8 pounds so far. I am following the tips that came with the Challenge kit as far as suggestions for meals and exercising 20-30 minutes a day. I am currently using the Shape Kit and am excited to see what my results are at the end of 90 days. Best of luck to you!

As far as snacks I am just following the suggestions from the guide that came with the challenge kit. I have been doing things like almonds and string cheese, trail mix with dried fruit and nuts, or any variation of fruit/vegetable and protein that I can come up with. Calorie wise for the last week I have averaged about…

I just completed my second week on Friday and have lost 8 pounds. Sorry to hear about your frustration. I have just been following the suggested calories on here and with my entries I have been keeping right within the range. Currently thinking about not tracking anymore since I have figured out what kinds of foods to…

My wife and I just completed our second week and have seen awesome results. We are currently replacing two meals a day and still getting our daily calorie intake even with the shakes. It has been a great discipline to make sure we are not skipping meals and getting the nutrition we should have all a long. We have actually…

It is an awesome program and can be customized to your schedule and abilities at the time. You are only a resistance band away from making it harder as your abilities increase. My wife has seen some great results.

I agree buy in bulk. Fruit and vegetables we typically will get frozen to start with. Do not have to worry about preparing and any spoilage issues.

Great job!

How is everyone doing with 10 Minute Trainer? It is amazing what can be accomplished in 10 minutes. Kori, feel free to jump in and we can keep each other accountable.

Found that planning all my meals in advance have helped. When I go grocery shopping only get the things on the list. This prevents getting those items I know I should not get. The mind is a terrible thing. If you think it long enough it turns into reality. I know that you will reach your goal!

Cannot believe there are no guys jumping on this. If there is a spot I am game.

The main reason I picked Shakeology was the finding on Food Facts website. Shakeology was number #1 until recently Garden of Life has a higher score. http://www.foodfacts.com/nutritionalinformation_Meal-Replacement-Drinks/20/321/1821

Great review! Glad to hear you are enjoying Shakeology. How much have you got it on Ebay? Just curious. If you would like I can e-mail you a PDF of different recipes for shakes. 60 days worth of different options.

Definitely do not think you would be last. I agree as far as cut offs. They are usually 3 1/2 to 4 hours if you are behind that time they will pick those people up.
-
I have not done Turbo Fire but I hear they are similar. Especially in the fact that they both use max interval training. You will be ready for that.
-
I found my times are faster than when I trained. The event will push you in a good way. Make sure you balance it out though so you have enough to the end. Do you have a plan for breakfast? Have fun and enjoy the experience! They are addictive.

Awesome job!

How far into the program are you? I found it true what he says in the program. Go at your own pace and do not sacrifice form. My wife has a bad back and she was sacrificing form and it made the workouts unbearable for her. My motivation ended up being getting to their pace. It was the driving factor for me to not be slower…

Great program!

My wife is finishing up her first round of 10 Minute Trainer. I am starting when she starts her second round the week of Labor Day. I completed the first month of Insanity but due to my shoulder I was not able to finish it.
-
Welcome and you can do it!
-
Turbo Jam without a doubt.
-
I would say circuit training, have the same problem with my Insanity workouts. How long have you been using Shakeology? Started my second month.

My wife and I both use meal replacement shakes due to our busy schedules. Definitely agree that you should watch the ingredients. The more things you understand on the label the better. Someone just forwarded this to me in reference to the same question. Hopefully it helps you in your quest.…

When you figure most people do not consume whole foods they are missing the nutrition that they need. Assuming whole foods are in the picture and not processed foods that the average person consumes you would be correct. Whole foods beats every time.

How much do you typically spend for lunch? Any meal you get will cost you more and give you a lot less nutrition than Shakeology. My wife and I have enjoyed Shakeology and the results we have seen. Message me and I would love to answer any questions you may have.

You will enjoy Insanity. The biggest thing I have learned is keeping up my calorie count. You are going to burn a lot of calories.
-
I would agree the calorie intake seems very low especially for a cardio program like Insanity!
-
First thing I would suggest is checking out http://www.goodformrunning.com/ to make sure you are running in proper form. Also if there is a local running store near you they are a great resource for everything running. Good luck with your new endeavor.

TurboFire using the same principle as Insanity of Max Interval Training. It gets your heart rate up there and keeps it up there to burn more calories during and after your workout. It is TurboJam to the next level!

I would suggest Beachbody just for the simple fact that this does not track accurately what an Insanity workout burns calorie wise. Plus with all the research they put into each program I am sure they are more accurate. Are you using Team Beachbody right now?
