I am 5'6 with larger frame and I started at my highest of 206. I'm currently at 175 and my goal is 130-135. I wonder all the time what size clothes I will be able to shop for when I get there. My best guess is 6 because I have no curves or booty. I haven't been that size since before my first son 13 years ago at 19 years…

I suppose if you cant make home made with wheat crust just have them put lots of veggies on it and I heard thin crust is best. Less carbs and calories. Yum I WANT pizza now

Multi and fish oil and protien. After my mom had weight loss surgery the docs wanted her to load up on protien because the surgery can make you deficient. She not like the drinks they recommended and her hair fell out fast and fierce.

Bigger breakfast, more protien and lots of snacks. I have a friend on here that stays in calories but eats happy meals and corn dogs. You don't get very much food out of that when you stay under 1200. I on the other hand would rather make smarter choices that fill me up and I am never hungry. In fact I used to be famished…

www.shape.com/playlists is what I used for my running playlist, but thanks to all the people on here for more suggestions.

Mine is open. Feel free to add me. I am south beaching phase 2 so it's pretty healthy I guess. I do have cheats but I try to keep those on the days I run and usually they're not horrible just a few chips or a few bites of mac n cheese off my kids plates lol. Let me tell you it makes a huge difference in my eating habits…

I ate little caesars pizza last night and ran the calories off (c25k) and the scale moved 1/2 lb today!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The pizza also made me hella sick after all this healthy eating stuff and I'm miserable at work so next time I will make it homemade with whole wheat crust. But at least the scale moved. I seriously need to…

Thank you so much for the great reply. This is the first time I've ever had to 'try' to lose weight. Also my first time ever really exercising any more than a walk around the block. So any advice helps a bunch. THANKS!!

I do obsess I'm not going to lie. Kind of a control freak I guess and if I don't see results sometimes I give up on stuff. I WILL TRY VERY HARD TO RELAX!! I know I need to.

MFP recommended 1200 due to sedentary job and I usually eat most or all my exercise calories back (within 50) some days I eat 100 over thinking I am 'tricking' my body. (I read some stuff on zigzagging but the numbers the zigzagging website gave me seemed way to high). Anyway should I go back to not eating my fruit and my…

honestly just got done with the water retention time so honestly I should have dropped a few if anything but this weight has been the same since 'that' time started. :grumble:

I'm at 1200 a day due to being an office worker and sedentary before this journey. I usually eat most of my exercise calories back (within maybe 50 defecit and some days around 100 extra (healthy protien calories usually) because people say tricking your body helps. One of my MFP friends was having the same prob once she…

If south beach worked for you before maybe you should try again? I lost 65 lbs on it 6 years ago and it worked for me because basically it teaches you how you are supposed to eat to be healthy (IN LAYMENS TERMS). I didn't gain them back until the last 2 years. I think I am going to go over my food choices tonight and see…

The wii active does alot of strength building with weights lunges etc, so I have been considering it strength building. I'm definetly new to all this exercise stuff and I love that wii active is like exercise and weights 101. And I have been measuring inches (because someone said it helps keep you motivated when exercising…

Funny stuff because I officially ended phase 1 last night with a LARGE glass of red wine after my 1 hour walk. Slept like a baby. So now I am just going to add a daily fruit and 1 high fiber grain portion 2-3 days a week. Oh and of course wine a few days a week. I am a carb lover and insulin resistant so I think…

If you are going to have wine, go red. Less sugar and it has antioxidants that are good for your heart. So you can feel less guilty about it :)

I lost 60 lbs in 7 months on South Beach 6 years ago. I didn't count calories but was also more active back then. I kept it off until this past year when my call center job kept me tied to my desk and stress and trying to quit smoking got the best of me. South Beach was originally recommended to me by the doctor who…

Are any of you still doing wii active? And did you see results? I have Active 2 and I have the same problems with the sensors. I am not a morning person and working out before coffee and having it act up made me want to throw my wii out the window!!! so I havent tried it since (it's been about 2 weeks).
