Just started LCHF a few days ago. Done almost anything you name it. Was almost to goal weight last year just calorie counting with high protein. I like being held accountable. Public shame is quite useful in keeping me motivated. They also offer much needed support and answer all my little questions that the forums would rip me to shreds for asking.

Anything pasta!!! Especially if the hubby wasn't around I could easily eat 3 large plates of spaghetti and meatballs and an entire loaf of garlic bread without a second thought. Now I use wheat noodles and turkey breast and no bread and only make it when I am really craving because I will still get carried away and go way…

I plan my weekends for these allowances and when I get carried away it is ok because I can use up some of the exercise cals I didn't eat back during the week. :drinker:

I think you said you were and are still trying to EAT at least 1200 and you're netting less because you are exercising? I don't always eat my exercise calories back but most days I try to eat at least half back. Are you using scales and measuring cups? When i first started here I thought I was eating good and couldn't figure out why I wasn't losing turns out I had no idea what a portion was. I started weighing properly and faithfully and realized I was eating wayyyyy too much.

I couldn't. Doc recommended South Beach (this was all years ago) I lost 65 lbs in 4 months and insulin resistance to the point of faining while driving one time all but dissapeared.
