OMG they same thing happened to me a few years ago. I was on WW, exercising regulary and slipped and fell on the ice breaking my fibia and tibia. I was out for awhile. i'm a big fan of baby steps. It's fine to just keep track of what you eat without the calories/carbs/fat etc for a little while. Once you get comfortable with the idea, THEN start adding in the calorie counting, then exercise, carb counting and the rest will follow in stride. Trying too much at once sets you up for failure!

I moved to a small crappy town about 2 years ago... and i couldn't meet ANYONE for over a year. Joined crossfit a month ago and I've FINALLY met some "normal" people. I agree with sbiscottie... bring on the koolaid. i finally fit in here.

I always wear my HRM... depending on the WOD i burn between 300-600 cal in an hour. I always stay after and jump rope for 10 min though...

i was hunting around on the site... it seems like a ton of people are against crossfit... i dont understand the controversy? it's just as dangerous as doing any type of workout...
