What about hanging up progress pics along with your weight loss goals? Add some motivational sayings and pictures of things you would like to accomplish, e.g. running a 5K, wearing a bikini, fitting into a strappy dress, etc.

I did when I joined over the summer. Now, I am 40 and still working on it. :-)

^^This is probably a good option for you. You can repeat week 1 for a day at a time to see how you feel. Go onto week 2 when you feel you are ready. It is better to go at your own pace than to rush yourself and risk injury or end up hating running.

I once worked as a camp counselor in the city. We walked EVERYWHERE everyday. I lost A LOT of weight that summer. If only I had kept the exercise up once the job ended! I envy those days, and hope to get down to that weight once again with MFP. Yes, keep walking!! :-)

I think people get used to seeing everyone overweight that they forget what a healthy weight looks like. The other day I went out to dinner and got "How many calories do you have left? You can go over just a little bit,…

I worked with someone who LOVED the sun. She was wrinkled at 24. I met her brother some years later. He was so sad about that. (Me too.) BTW, I am pale myself. If I get a couple shades darker, I still look white. LOL. My roommate kept nagging me about getting a tan this past summer. She is naturally dark, but she could not…

Definitely age appropriate, unless you are talking about the really low ones.

If I get to my goal weight, I would like to buy a new wardrobe. It would be fun to start from scratch...since I have never done that.

Love it! Thanks.

I've been known to use my gloves. I have extra pairs, so it's easy to toss one pair in the wash.

My goal is to get fit. I want to be in the habit of exercising, as part of my lifestyle. I have a long way to go yet, but I am on track (pun intended).

Oops -- hit the button too many times. Sorry about that!

Sorry 'bout the extra posting.

I think I was about 115 when I graduated. I was 126 by the end of Freshman year of college. I am now 149/150.

I love that one!

Would it help to also add a stretchy top over everything?

That would make the shoes thing so much easier! :-)
