If he trims it off his neck, I think he might be able to.

Depends on the guy. Less is more IMHO. I want to be able to see a guy's face, so if it is all covered up under a bushy beard, I don't particularly like it.

It's not weird. Your mind might be processing your subconscious feelings about food or your change in habits. If you are able to guide your dreams, you can use them to work through any issues that might be presenting themselves this way. Then, when you wake up, you've had some practice handling temptations to break your…

You can toss the sandwich fillings on top of a green salad. (I was going to suggest wrapping it up in the lettuce, like Korean BBQ, but several people beat me to it!) :-)

The diet soda can make your body respond as if it were real sugar. Edit: I noticed you weren't meeting your protein goal and exceeding your carb goal in some cases. Try switching that around, so that you don't overdo your carbs.

Ah! This is what I need to hear!

I can relate! I am about 5'4". I aim for about 1300-1400 kcal per day. I upped it from 1200, so I would have more energy. I have lost some inches, but my overall weight has been pretty steady. I am on my feet a lot, but am not as active as I should be. If I were, I would certainly lose weight faster.

I can't eat a lot of meat. I don't like it enough. However, I couldn't live without eating it. I am also mindful an animal died for food, so I try not to waste any when I do eat it.

Careful! Heat and plastic are not a good combination. Heat will make the plastic leech toxins into the water. (My friend makes the point that the plastic water bottles will sometimes sit outside in the heat on the loading dock when they are transported to/from a store, so my point is probably moot anyway.) You best bet is…

It is good to hear your taste buds are adjusting! :glasses: I can relate a little . . . I will feel sick when I eat processed food, especially fast food. I know that if I eat McDonald's, I will feel sick...no matter how I rationalize it at the register. Pizza has only recently been bothering me in that it makes me feel…

I like the beach, so I took a pic of this interesting boardwalk at one of 'em. I like how it fits with weight loss, because losing weight is a journey along a new path. It is a little familiar, but also very exciting because you don't really know how it will unfold until you get there. So, my profile pic was chosen as a…

Awesome. Thanks!

I should tell my 18 year old self the same thing. I liked cs, but I couldn't fathom what one would do with it. In hindsight, duh! That field would have given me quite the savings account. Oh well! God had other plans, I suppose.

I'd probably give her a list, which she would promptly throw away. I don't think I would want to listen to the me that I am now. I'd have to send someone else, maybe someone closer to her age, like my 22 year old self. LOL.

I often make my own **homemade** "TV dinners" that I would freeze into individual portions and then microwave as needed. Some of the dishes that work best for me or that I would recommend are: chili & rice, macaroni & cheese, chicken and veggies (e.g. mashed potato, mixed veggies), and meatloaf. The idea is to have a…

I am inspired by your comment. I encourage you to keep moving forward. Some people don't stop hating themselves. I am glad you were given a gift to move beyond that. :-)

I do believe you meant another kind of "love" than the thread-jackers here assume. I love my eyes. I have come to appreciate my skin. I get lots of compliments on both. I am pretty in lots of ways and even have a great personality, but I am down to earth. (I am not being conceited. People have told me this stuff, and I…

I think when you workout should depend on what your work hours are, the type of work you do, and whether you want to work out in a gym or outside. For me to use my prime energy first thing in the morning would make my afternoons hard at work. If I wait until after work, exercise will re-energize me by dealing with the…

You are doing fine. Don't let them pull you back into the cycle. (They may feel a need to be co-dependent, but you don't have to.)

If your child won't nap, you can try zumba for kids (http://tinyurl.com/82os7lc) and work out together.

If the noise was at a reasonable level, your neighbor will have to deal with it. I would find a way to pad the floor where you work out because even if you agree on a time, it could still embitter hard feelings if s/he finds the noise is irritating her/him. Do you have carpet down?

I love seeing your muscle! Congratulations on your weight loss. It is so inspiring!

I can do them against a wall! Otherwise, I can't. Thanks for the link. I'll take a look at it.
