  • Came last in the weekly park run again! Battled to keep up with the girl at the back who was collecting all the signs!:embarassed: ... but then ... I was giving it a go ... hubby stayed in bed!
  • I confess, I feel like a stalker! ... I went to look at your pictures to see if any of these "before" pictures were there. • People lose weight in different ways. Apparently just buying blue plates can put you off eating ... go figure ... so I guess we each go for what works for us. Personally, I like scales. Even if I don't use them all the time, they have taught me to be more realistic about my choices. Good luck with whatever you decide…

At first I thought it was my lifestyle. Eventually, went to the doctor. I had anaemia (iron deficiency) and bilharzia (a tropical parasitic disease) I…

Not brave enough to go to a gym yet ... but do do the local 5k fun run (wheezing, sweating and coughing all the way .... and come last by far). I am trying to convince myself that I am doing a public service because I am…

  • If you live in England ... if you go to Tesco ... you can buy Tesco Mediterranean Frozen vegetables (with baby tomato, brinjil, carrots, parsnips ... and other things) and put it in the oven. Not the cheapest vegetable on the market, but my all time favourite!!! (and no, I don't work for Tesco and I don't get a commision)…

  • This is also my second time around ... this time I started off way heavier than I was the first time :frown: :frown: :frown: I am trying to convince myself it is like Harry Potter when he went back in time and saw himself conjure the patronus charm He later said, " I knew I could do it this time, because... well, because…
