weight training with heavy weights. Press ups, pull ups etc Anything that uses your arm muscles plus cardio to burn the fat from them. I have always had flabby arms but they are improving from doing Insanity and I am no longer ashamed of them. I still have a way to go but can see a big difference. :)

I am not sure what would have caused it but if you open your food diary to "public" we might be able to see if its food related. Sodium causes water weight retention so tracking this may help. I too gained 3 lbs this week and I know how soul destroying it is. We just have to trust it WILL come off if we work hard and be…

I believe there is no specific way to "spot reduce" areas. Ie back fat. It will come off as you lose body fat. I am 5' 3" 133 lbs and have "betty backfat" (my pet name) . It is starting to go but its the hardest to shift as is my lower tummy. We all have areas that are problems but if you focus on toning your whole body…

I agree with ^ a resistance band and just use your own body weight. Squats, lunges, push ups etc need no equipment and you can do them nearly anywhere. :)

cottage cheese, lean meat, fish, whey protein powder, eggs, nuts.

i have 30grams of porridge oats made with water, then a splash of milk, cinnamon and splenda followed by a protein shake. 24 grams of both carbs and protein. tastes great, its very warming for those cold mornings :)

If its me then I would have a breakfast of energy food, ie porridge with a protein shake. then workout later in the day. I:)

I changed my food ratio goals to 40 protein/40/carbs/20 fat. to do this : You can go into My Home-->Goals-->change goals-->Custom and change the percentages to what you want. I nearly always eat more protein than carbs :) hope this helps.

I changed my ratio to 40/40/20 If I eat too many carbs from bread and rice etc my belly blows up like a balloon so I get alot of my carbs from fruits and veggies :)
-
MFP has protein/carbs/fat set up on a particular ratio. I changed mine so its 40/40/20 you can do this under goals. Change to custom goals and then change the ratio to what you choose not what they say. Hope this helps so you dont see red again :)

Just keep at it!!! Sometimes if you have a salty meal or rice/pasta the night before weigh in you hold on to a little "water weight". You will see the difference next week :)

I weigh in after going to the loo as soon as I get up. after I have worked out and had my 2 pints of water(whilst working out) i always weigh more soooooo first thing makes me feel better :)

I love INSANITY. The first week is the hardest but after your fitness begins to improve it does get a bit easier. I lost 14 lbs during my first round, then I tried a P90X / INSANITY Hybrid but I just didnt stick to it. Had a couple of weeks off and am now on week 2 round 2 Pure INSANITY. I hope you love it. If you like to…

I nearly always have salad or veggies with Salmon. Takes about 5 mins to do and is low cal. If I want carbs with it I have rice or ryvita crackers :)
-
If macdonalds is my only choice I have a chicken salad toasted deli sandwich. Yummy and only about 350 cals. :)

I am not an expert but all the stuff I have read and try to follow at least 80% of the time is about eating clean , natural foods. These include lean proteins: turkey, chicken, fish, lean beef Diary: cottage cheese, skimmed milk, natural yogurt, eggs fruits, vegetables and nuts. Try not to have anything processed, the more…

Reset your profile to include more protein. Go to settings and select custom settings. You can change to whatever you want. I have mine set at 40/40/20 carbs protein fats other people have theirs 50/30/20. Whatever MFP says I try and eat 20-25 grams of protein at every meal and i eat 5-6 times a day. I am never starving…
-
I have my settings at 40/40/20 and most days eat about 125 grams of protein. It keeps me fuller for longer and I balance it by drinking loads of water :)

If you are quite fit already and are ready to push yourself harder than ever before then Insanity is for you. You dont need any weights or equipment just some good trainers and lots of willpower. I have heard that a bodybug is the best cal counter/heartrate monitor but I do not have one so cant advise. I have just finished…
