Thank you very much for this article. In Oct 2013 I will be 4 years post op and yes I have regained 20 lbs. I'm freaking out, depressed, and my clothes don't fit well but I refuse to buy bigger clothes. Every day I "talk" to myself to try and get to the gym, do some exercise, more walking... and every day there's some…

too funny :) I think we all feel nutty sometimes. I'm always here to talk to if you like :flowerforyou:

LOL... I sometimes want to do that when I'm at my friend's place!! but they might be offended then. When I'm at my lowest is when I spend the money. It always makes me feel better...for the moment though because we all know we have to eventually pay them back right?? :noway:

I agree not telling people, but telling some. I've been 4 years out and still to this day some people just don't get it. Of course my best friend and my family knows but that's about all. When I did tell one of my friends (best friend at the time) she saw me as a threat and needless to say, don't talk to me anymore. The…

YUP!!! me too!! Since I started going back to the gym I feel a huge difference and actually want to "DO" stuff on the weekends. I do still however get into the dip where I absolutely want to do nothing and eat awful stuff, It's a vicious circle for sure. Manic stage... I LOVE IT!!!! i was there last weekends, steam cleaned…

I Know!!! I get really tired of mine quickly too, then I go into I Tunes, spend some money, and then next month I'm bored again!!! what to do.....

It is also good to get the book! I'm reading it right now. There's some awesome tips and things we forget along the journey. I've had surgery in Oct 2008, lost over 100lbs but forgot about the basics. Water is my biggest daemon and since reading the book and getting the water in, eating right, I've lost 3 lbs already.

"not so new" here but haven't been keeping track and kicked myself in the butt to start doing it again! I hear you.. Emotional Eater galore!! It's very easy for someone else to say, oh well, when you feel like that try and do something instead of eating. It's just too bloody difficult!!! I caught myself doing that…

[/quote] How does it have anything to do with alcoholism? And yes, it is a choice. You pick up the bottle, that's your choice, no one else's. I've been there. I struggled with that, I can speak from experience. I drank a fifth of vodka every day for over a year. It was MY choice. I didn't look for an out. My father is an…

Can DEFINETLY see it, a picture is worth a thousand words!!. How long did it take you to lose this and what was your action plan? Keep it up!:drinker:

Yup!! I also still felt and look fat to myself even after losing 100lbs. the only way you can SEE the weight loss is with pictures. Even though my friends told me I looked great I still did not (in my mind) believed it.

It is definetly a struggle at times. I NEVER drank beer before and then a new boyfriend. I started drinking beer and definetly saw the weight creeping up, big time. Now I try and work those calories into my day if I know I am going to have a drink or two. AND I googled all the beer to see which one has the lower calories…
