50 Shades of Grey is HORRIBLE! That said, on to my book list! - Anything by Terry Pratchett but my fav is Good Omens which he wrote with Neil Gaimen - My hubby loves his books more than I do! - If you like fantasy/sci-fi with mystery thrown in - look up Tanya Huff, she writes a variety from vampires and gouls to future…

Stir-Fry: Brown rice, broccoli, zuchini, red/orange/yellow bell peppers, califlower, onion and galic with a Black Bean Garlic & Mango Jam sauce - haven't done the cals yet but most of it will come from the rice, which is a good carb :-)
-
I worked out last night and ended up eating my extra cals but I didn't feel like I ate too much that day - like i do when I go off program. Plus TOM is visting so I have to deal with cravings anyway - I guess we'll see next Mon on weigh in day :-)

Bump for cuteness :-)

Yup normal! I'm 5lbs like clockwork - it goes away right after. If I indulge and take in too much salt it might last an extra day or two that's it :-)

Sounds like you have a great outlook for losing weight - I'm with you, I just got down to 220lb and have a 100 still to lose (give or take with muscle gain :-) I sent you a friend request!

My response: "Yeah, I'm fat, but I can lose weight...you're always gonna be ugly!" Stand up for yourself and go back to that park whenever you want! Don't let other people's *kitten* behaviour determine anything about your life :-) Congrats on your weight loss and keep going!

Hi - I'm from Toronto, Annex core girl here :-) Anyone from this post - feel free to add me :-)

Just another echo of encouragement - talk to your doctor if you have one to make sure that it is safe for you to walk on concrete/asphalt, etc. Otherwise the pool walking idea is a great start that will have less stress to your joints. Forgive me but based on your stats and you pic I'm going to guess that you might not be…

You look awesome! Great work & keep going!

My mum is Indian and I grew up with homemade curries but at restaurants they usually make everything with oil and ghee so that it lasts all day/night. I agree with most of the posts - here's my 2 cents: - veg currie is a good choice: Dahl (lentils) is wonderful and filling, I like chana (chickpeas) but it usually has a lot…

Check with the staff? They usually do orientations for people on the machines - don't they? And yes - running outside in Ontario in the winter SUCKS!

Throwing away the fact that I am trying to get the artifical crap out of my diet and that there haven't been any studies to prove one way or that other that's it's bad for you because no one is going to pay for such studies and the food lobbists rally against that constantly as it is. I real problem - and this is a fact -…

I've tried WW but you dont really learn to count calories properly. I say save your money and spend it on healthier food to lose weight on your own!
-
That's it! You are not allowed to make me cry anymore ;-)
-
Cool - Think I'll try it with cucumber and oregano for a fully greek chicken salad - I'm not a fan of the fruit and raisins :-) Thanks!
-
Yeah it always pisses me off when someone asks me when I'm due :grumble: and it bothers me for awhile but you are doing amazing!!! Try to focus on that and yeah i agree they may just be looking for another pay day as they are a daycare  Note: The only time I don't mind is when I'm on the subway or bus and someone…

Hi, I'm in the 200 clucb :-( I have weighted over 200 for over 12 years since I was 20...finally need to lose this weight! HW 255, MFP SW 240, CW 227 (but I only log my weight on Mondays so we'll see by then :-) Feel free to add me!
-
OP - I agree to not make excuses - if you eat it, you ate it - log it and move on. However - if the doctors and scientists are to be believed, then there is a hormonal and biological reason that woman (and their brains) may crave sweets and fat before and during TOM. One's willpower also originates in the brain - exactly…

Congrats on begining to understand the mechanisms that got you to where you were before starting this journey. Without the mental adjustment of why we eat in excess/unhealthy it is impossible to maintain the weight loss and healthy lifestyle that we look to achieve! Thanks again for sharing your story.
-
Congrats! Awesome job - you do look so much younger and refreshed...no so tired :-) Keep it up!

I have upper and lower belly fat - YUCK - but the upper part was looking smaller and I looked better in shirts/tops without a spanx kinda thing :-)
