I love to hate that woman! I did it a few months ago and did it every single day for the 30 days (some days were hard, but I stuck with it!). Take your measurements beforehand because you will most likely not see a large drop on the scale since you are converting fat to muscle. I only lost a few pounds, but I lost about 8…

But the Couch 2 5K program is done in 9 weeks??

Awesome work!!

The Stand by Stephen King... an oldie, but a goodie :)

I'm not your pal, friend!
-
I did the 30DS religiously for 30 days straight. I had great results, not much in pounds, but definitely in inches. I highly recommend it!

Jillian Michaels!
-
42 degrees celcius (107.6 fahrenheit) in Ottawa today with the humidex. It takes the energy right out of you!
-
I love the 30DS!!! I've done it a couple times. Both times, I didn't see much movement on the scale, but the measurements were WAY down! 2 dress sizes for me as well :) I HIGHLY recommend it! And make sure you take measurements before and after!
-
ahaha, that awesome! Good for you! :drinker:

Jillian says the only thing you need to detox your body is drinking your water...

I love Gail! I suggest poking around her site to see what info you can get. She is Canadian so I'm not sure ALL will apply to you, but I can't see it being far off. She also has some worksheets you can fill out to help you get out of debt. http://www.gailvazoxlade.com/resources/get_out_of_debt.html

I hear ya, it's hard sometimes, but well worth the health benefits. I slowly cut out excess sodium (most days anyways :blushing: ). Your taste buds adapt and it gets easier. I actually find a lot of things that I use to put salt on way too salty without even adding some now.
-
Sodium makes you retain water which adds to the scale, but not necessarily your measurements. The main reason I would try and reduce sodium intake is this: The chronic high blood pressure that can occur because of too much sodium puts you at an increased risk of heart disease, kidney disease, stroke and congestive heart…

It is doen often now. While it isn't traditional etiquette, they are going about it the right way. That wording is perfect and they also say you can get a gift if you would prefer for the more traditional guests. I think it is a great idea.

This is what I do too :)

Red meat in moderation... I switched to lean ground turkey instead of lean ground beef for my fiancé which is also helping me in the weightloss department  Some of the things you will have to change up will be for the better anyways so it isn't all bad!

Hmmm, not so much. Normally I would agree with you on Google, but Crohn's is different for everyone that has it so unfortunately, Google might be able to give you some things to try, but it won't give you the end all answers... basically the same thing as people are posting here. Look for answers where ever you think to,…
-
Also, what do you like to drink? I know beer is a big no-no with my fiancé, but wine doesn't seem to bother him at all and hard liquor is fine for him in moderation.
-
My fiancé has Crohn's and I have done a TON of research. Unfortunately it is one of those things that has different triggers for everyone. What may bother one person, may not bother the next. Gluten free is a mis-conception! If you have an intolerance to it that is one thing, but since your body already has a hard time…

I'm not a professional, but maybe you need to increase your calorie intake?Or maybe get your thyroid checked? Is it just since you started counting calories that you feel tired?
-
Well good for you for turning a negative into a positive. And I'm sure you were gorgeous on your wedding day!
-
This. Keep it up though!
-
I have it, but I just use it on days where I would be over. For example, If I have a big lunch and have minimal calories left for the day I will have it for dinner. If I know I am going out for dinner I will have one for lunch, but this is the only time I use it.
-
The poor little guy :( Have you tried coconut oil too? Not just to eat, but to actually put on the rash? Make sure there is no allergy first!
-
I still have it every now and then (but I always feel like crap after). If you want it, go for it. If I deprived myself of everything I wouldn't stick with it. I just don't do it often and try to make up for it. One meal of McDonald's will not set you back. Water, water, water though to help flush the sodium.

Not sure about the kettlebell workout, but my HRM gives me roughly the same #s for the 30DS under circuit training... but I only log it as 20 minutes (don't count the warm up and cool down).
-
Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred for sure, I also like her Extreme Shed and Shred.

1 and 5 for sure!
