I definitely gained muscle and barely lost any lbs on the 30DS. I lost a lot of inches though :) Maybe up your weights if you continue to do it. Also, I highly recommend New Rules of Lifting for Women. I live in the country so getting to the gym every other day was not going to happen and I am scrapped for cash, so I…

I use Natrel 1% lactose free milk (I get it at Walmart - Canada). I find it tastes the same as regular milk and I get no issues :) Milk and ice cream are all that bother me. I asked my doctor why cheese and yogurt wouldn't and apparently the bacteria content in them breaks down the lactose so it isn't as bad for some…

^^this^^ Hang in there! You'll be so happy you did! I've done the 30DS twice and had great results both times at the end of it.

Oatmeal (mix up the flavours) with cinnamon and chia seeds

I am by no means an expert and this is just my opinion. Both will get better as you go. Do you watch the Biggest Loser? If you have ever seen the season premier you see people vomiting all over the place. You are pushing your body to make a change so the nausea is a good thing (as long as it gets better over the weeks). As…

That drinking and driving was illegal (I mean drinking anything...) until I was about 10 and I got upset with my dad for drinking a can of coke while driving, then he laughed at me :(

I switch up the elliptical and treadmill. If you have knee issues, the elliptical is a lot less impact :) For strength training, I would recommend New Rules of Lifting for Women. I also highly recommend Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. Good luck!

I do NROLW at home :) I didn't feel comfortable at first either, so I just bought some equipment for home (most of it used). It worked out to less than what I would have paid for a year membership at the gym :)

Check out New Rules of Lifting for Women. Great plan :)

I use it for everything! My nutritionist says that if you wouldn't eat it, then don't put it on your skin since you absorb everything. So I use this as a lotion. I also use it for cooking (I have two separate bottles, one for body, one for cooking). Almost anywhere I would use butter, I use coconut oil instead. Much…

I live in Ottawa! :D I use the Kraft brand, it's delicious, but keep it in the fridge as it separates and gets runny.

I agree with the 6-8 weeks, but it is so worth sticking with it!

This also helps with plantars fasciitis (sp?)

I recommend starting with the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels as well before diving into a more intense routine. She gets results fast and it can better prepare you for Insanity or Turbo Fire or P90X, etc. Good for you for not giving up! You got this! Just make sure you don't push yourself too hard, too fast.

ya she is!

Also, if you decide you want a bigger wedding with less stress, I highly suggest hiring a wedding planner to take care of a lot of the details. You still get your wedding, they just do all of the leg work

I'm Italian and a wedding planner, I've been dreaming of a BIG wedding my whole life LOL. My now hubby wanted city hall so there was some compromising to do! For some reason he likes pirates (yes he's almost 30 years old). So I looked around and found that you can get married on the Song Ship at Treasure Island in Las…

I say this. If it is just a cold, sometimes it helps to sweat it out. If you find you have no energy though, I say rest up.

She's my fav!

Love it!!! Ottawa girl here :)

I prefer the treadmill because the bike hurts my bum... if anyone has any tips for that let me know because I do find it more of a workout...

Be thankful for the peace and quiet and do whatever your little heart desires :) I am Canadian so I am at work today... you can be thankful you don't have to go to work too! LOL

I have done a few rounds of the 30DS (actually starting another one today). I do it every day and push through the soreness. The first time I did it, I could barely move, but I pushed through. The pain goes away for me around day 3 or 4. Good luck and stick with it, you'll be so happy you did!

That's awesome!! Keep up the fantastic work!

Coconut oil is fatty, but it is a healthy fat. There are LOTS of benefits to coconut oil other than weightloss. My nutritionist swears by it and I love it!

vitamin D to help the winter blues and Jillian's 30 DS for timing... it's only 25 minutes with warm up and cool down.

Honestly, I'm taking it slow. Don't get me wrong, I want the weight off NOW! But if I do it this way I know I can stick with it. I still don't eat the healthiest, but I am much better than I used to be and my portions are much smaller. Once my stomach got used it, I didn't feel as hungry all the time. Also, soda was a big…
