Personally - once a week, on the same day, at the same time, in the same clothes!

Heya! I'm actually working a night shift right now... I eat breakfast in the morning after my night shift... I then have a small snack mid afternoon which I include in the lunch section. Then I have a small dinner when I've woken up fully late afternoon. I log a very light LUNCH which I actually take with me to eat before…

Oooh yes, I'd be interesting in this too...

So jealous.

I DIDN'T have crumpets for breakfast. Believe you me - that was very different.

Sometimes if you have spent a long time in bed, you will feel dizzy when you get out of bed... it's sort of like of virtigo. So try to sit up whenever possible, and when you do get up spend a few minute sitting on the edge of the bed first to get used to it. But I hasten to add, I'm no professional... Must be a nightmare…

Well hello everyone!!! Yeah I know it's on my profile - just checking to see whether I'd managed to attached it to my forum posts :)

I don't have the same problem, but that's not to say that I don't sometimes get an attack of the killer hungries late at night! I've had to make sure I eat all (or nearly all) of my calories during the day, so that when I think "ooooh I fancy a little something" late in the evening I just have to tell myself that I can't…

Welcome - I like pies :)

100% agree with this... But most of all don't let it worry you, just speak to the professionals. :)

Sounds like a lovely diary to me! Nicely balanced and lots of fresh things! I would try to eat a little more though. I had a plateau very early on in my weight loss due to not eating enough. I then raised my intake by 200 cals per day and I noticed an immediate effect. Keep up all the hard work though!!

Ditto that. Planning what I'll eat for the day and taking it with me wherever I go so that there aren't any surprises, and don't have to just grab something because I'm hungry.

This seems to come up quite a lot. If you end up burning so much that you are under the recommended 1200 it's possible your body can go into that famous 'starvation mode'. I find it useful to eat SOME of my exercise calories on some days. Mostly just so that I have the energy! Seems to be different for everyone though so…

So funny! He could have a motive, but I'd be inclined to just enjoy it whatever the motive! Just take it as a positive and keep up all the good work because it's obviously paying off! :D

Sounds kinda different to glorious England - where it has rained every day this week, at least once.... I'd also like to add, I would eat a huge McDonalds, followed by a massive chocolate bar. And milkshake. Then set about being some kind of vigilante super hero!! (NB - only in this parallel universe where there is no…

I would go into huge debt and go on holiday somewhere sunny!

Science geeks... I once actually went to a particle physics lecture.... for fun.

Dull dull dull!! And since I cut my coffee intake down they're a lot more difficult too! :) Blurgh...

Yikes - I'd say too few calories. When I first started on here I (A WOMAN!) was only having 1250 clas a day and I didn't lose weight at all. I upped it by 200 and that week lost 3lbs and have lost consitently since then. Sounds backward, but seems to work. :)

Ahem - I recommend the Polar FT4.... Sorry to be so predictable ;) but it's lovely.

You make an interestnig point. I can't help but think if we are given advice by somebody close to us we maybe view their opinion as subjective and so don't take it on board. When speaking to a relative stranger online or a colleague, it seems as though it's a more objective opinion and therefore more valid? I'm no…

I use this one too, and it's fantastic!
-
That's fantastic, and yes - I'm wearing mine in my picture too!! :D
-
Oh my goodness - I'm so glad somebody else asked that, I have been wondering for weeks!! :D

I know that a lot of impact can be uncomfortable on the joints at first. I agree with the previous comments that swimming may be good at this stage as it's no impact, but will get your heart rate up nicely :) Whatever you choose I hope it works well for you! :) x

Hmm - a little tricky, because Daal is a lentil based Asian dish.. (Curry!). Perhaps try a thick lentil based soup of stew instead! See what comes up! :)

NOT helpful :( There are some complete idiots out there. I agree with all the above, report him and show him that if he's not on here to support other people then he's in the wrong place. YUCK!

You have lost an incredible amount of weight and should be so proud of yourself. It's so sad when this sort of thing happens, but I'm so glad you have decided not to take it out on your body! Continue as you have been doing, feel fitter, stronger and more confident... whatever else happens will all be part of the journey.…

It's amazing, I totally agree!! :D

9lb in a month? You've done really well so far!! If you'd like a friend feel free to add me, I'm UK so we'll be opposite times, but I'll do my best to support regardless! Keep it up, you're doing so well.
