here's what we are talking about! Very easy to follow him! :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx9gVDCnT84

LOL, no we are not talking about this type, it's the type where you do it on a workout bench! Sit on the bench, put your fit out as far as you can, hold on to the bench, slide your booty of the end of it, and let it drop until your arms are parrallel to the floor and push up. that's it! :)

Yes you can!

are you challenging anyone that wants in? I think i can put these away! :)

Think of this long term, are you going to want to eat such low calories for the rest of your life. Part of maintenance is working out and "increasing" the amount of food your body can have without putting you back on the weight battle. Don't worry, eat happy! :)

Remember, MFP already has you on a daily deficit depending on your fitness goals. For example, I want to lose 1 pound a week so my calories are set at a deficit of 500 calories a day. So, if I don't eat my exercise calories, it's 500 plus whatever your exercise calories are. So, I suppose if you want to lose 2 lbs a week,…

what do you have your goal set for?
-
I second it!

Funny stuff! I agree

Heart rate monitor is the best option in this case so that you accurately measure your calorie burn. Maybe on your first paycheck you can invest in yourself! :) I think you will be surprised on the amount of calories you burn during your stocking job.

Before you ignore him, why not find out why he's not supportive? Maybe he is feeling neglected, possibly would like to be included, or just plain would like to be a part of your accomplishments. Isn't that what marriage is all about?
-
that's correct!

I don't think it's the exercise, calorie/fat burn is dependent on your body and how your metabolism works. However, that being said, what others have said: running, swimming, cycling, and I would like to add Zumba, can give you large calorie burns. One thing to remember is that the intensity will determine your ultimate…

I agree with this post! Besides, if you eat before you will have more energy and stamina to hit the ball over the fence!

Do you all know that you can add any exercise to the data base? I think I may have been the one that added Zumba because I do it so often and used to use "dance aerobics" but the calorie count was not correct. Either way, I am glad someone else is benefiting from it.

Don't be sad, move on! It's going to happen and you will recover. This week I overate 2 days in a row, and it was HUGE overeating, not just a little. But, I still did well! You will too, don't dwell on the past, plan for the future ;)

I love Zumba. I am an instructor and I burn more calories teaching this class than in any other. Every class is a minimum of 500 calories for me and sometimes almost 600 in one class. I entered my own and entered calories from my HRM.
-
I will do it too, let me know how we will track. Will you have weekly challenges?
-
all of the above! and love your butt, some women wish they had half of one! :) BTW, I'm a big butt girl too and I love it, it looks awesome in jeans, bathing suits, tight fitting dresses, etc. Think of the alternative, flat!!! OH no

Judas! Lady gaga, I love her!

It's difficult without a HRM, does the elliptical have a calorie counter? I would use that if anything else. It's not the most accurate but it's something. Go lower than higher to avoid disappointment if the scale doesn't move :)
-
These are hard to record. I purchased a heart rate monitor because this gives me a more accurate reading based on my body type and workout effect which is based on my heart rate. This is what I recommend.

fin-uh for fixing to

right there with ya! But there's strength in victories! Ice cream is my thing! :)

Hold on, you don't burn your deficit, my bad, you burn the calories that you exercise. So for example, your calories per day are 1550 to lose a pound a week, already this number is down by 500, then you exercise and "burn" 500 more calories, you could eat 2550 and still lose 1 poud a week. If you don't eat 2550, and only…

500+exercise calories (if you don't eat them back).
-
This is exactly why your calories changed, you can eat more if you want to lose less. Going from 2lbs to .5lb is a big difference. Good for you on lowering it, sometimes we get in a hurry to lose and don't realize that the longer it takes you to take it off the longer it will stay off and the easier you will maintain. good…

Never use the second one in my spin class, it would drive me nuts! I can barely stand techno, LOL
