I like working out in the morning to boost my metabolism at the start of my day. That being said, I have been unmotivated to get out of my cozy bed this winter so I work out immediately after work before the kids come home from school. If I wait any longer, life gets in the way.

I have noticed the same thing. If I eat a piece of fruit I'm over my sugar allowance. I'm interested in what other have to say on this topic as well.

I have never been able to eat first thing in the morning, with or without exercise. I workout every morning after my first cup of cofee :drinker: (6:30/7:00 am) and eat breakfast around 9 or 9:30. I don't know if this is good or bad but it works for me. Good luck with your new schedule!

I get bored quickly with the DVD's I've tried. My favorites are the ones made for the Wii fit. Much to my surprise, I found that I LOVE to box!

I think the same is true of your caloric intake. If you consistently eat the same amount of calories every day your body becomes too efficient. Going under some days and max out on other days keeps your metabolism on its toes.

Wow, you guys are awesome and so creative. I've never heard of some of the items you're choosing for breakfast. (newbie) I usually stick with black coffee and a fiber one bar.
