Whirly-pop is my best friend on munchie days. I tend to pop up a bowl when I'm working on homework about one afternoon a week. It's really not bad considering you only use 2T of oil for 1/3 C of kernels. I never eat microwave stuff anymore. It's just not the same! I got some seasoning from GFS that I LOVE. Yum! Makes me…

LOVE this story so much! I am seeing glimmers of this in my husband too but never really stopped to think about it until I read this. Thank you for sharing. On that note, I'm logging off of the computer and going to snuggle in bed with my love!

No, it's not fair to ask him to change his diet to accommodate you all the time. For me and my DH eating out is a treat so when we go we order what we want. Mine stays within my calorie allowances but I do not ask him not to order what he wants so I'm not tempted. Willpower, for me, is the hardest part of this journey. But…

Counting calories mainly, trying to cut out some of the "junk food" that made regular appearances in my diet. But also working out, mostly at home, Jillian Michaels 30 DS (just finished level 1 today) mixed with the Zumba for the Wii which I love. I also got a fitbit which has been amazingly motivating and enlightening for…

I'm 5'10" and I just posted my first 20 lbs of progress http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/508979-20-down. Here's a headshot only. I don't see much of a difference besides more of my sports bra shows under my tank and my collar bones are starting to make an appearance :)…

Don't get too "comfy" make sure you measure and weigh everything you eat so you know your portions are spot-on. I know when I'm getting comfortable in my routine I start to eyeball things and that usually adds up against me.

Hey ladies! Gotta join in on the Mommy thread! I am a 28 year old Mommy of 2 boys (6 and 3), I work full time, my husband and I own a small business that I run from home (probably 20-30 hours per week there), right now I am going to college part time and trying to keep my family running. Sometimes taking care of my health…

Great post, thanks for sharing! tuffytuffy1 - I'm pretty sure this email was sent to a group list (sounds like the group that does the bootcamp the OP mentions).

I love mine! My activity level varies greatly on work days vs. non-work days so I rely on my fitibit to adjust my calorie goal so I eat enough on work days... Otherwise I'm way under my calorie goals and plateau. Now that I've had it I can't imagine doing this without it!

Are you eating your exercise calories? If not, you should! I wasn't seeing losses until I started eating them back.

Looks interesting but I wonder how it compares to Fitbit. If it had a HRM built in that would be outstanding :)
