Too true! I try to do a lot more cardio to lose the extra first, since if I start building up ab muscles, it'll just look like I have a thicker waist! :P

I've noticed that too. My family eats a lot of vegetables and fish, so protein is kind of an issue. I try to get my mom to cook more tofu if she doesn't want to cook meat, which is more time consuming. Also, remember, Asian ladies, to take your calcium, because the Asian diet hardly has any!

If you're actually hitting the gym a whole bunch, the weight could be your muscles retaining water. Just keep at it, and the pounds are sure to shed! (Also, make sure that when you count your calories, you're counting correctly. Are you weighing every gram?)

Not a pear shaped girl, but I wish I was! I'm more of an apple shape, so while my legs have slimmed down, I still have a wobbly belly. :P Let me tell you, I'd much rather have some thick thighs than a thick waist.
