well, I think that my metabolism is a huge issue and I have hypothyroidism so I feel like 1657 is way too high. I would like to ramp up my metabolism but just not sure how to do that. My BMR says 1657. So, should I eat 1657 calories a day?? That seems like quite a few. So, if I do the same walk and burn around 600, does that mean I have to eat 1657 plus my exercise calories, or half my exercise calories? I am 214 pounds and 5'5. I want to get to at least 160.

I did this for the first time today and it was great!! The sports bra on top was pretty snug, at first felt a little binding but I got used to it and felt so comfortable when working out.

I agree that 1200 right now is easy because I am on a "diet" but probably not easy to do for the rest of my life. If I continue to make good choices but eat more I will probably be ok. It's also a lot about what you put in your body, and not always necessarily how much.

Its not a stall (plateau) until youve noticed no movement for a few weeks - I think if you asked everyonehere on MFP - week three is always one of the smallest losses you will record.
