  • Aha! So like football tires! Lol...kind of...
  • Got caught up yesterday....everything good. Walked an extra mile and 200 extra jumping jacks.
  • Food and water good yesterday. Got 2 more miles of walking in at lunch, but NO exercises! I'll have to make them up today. Had a hair appt. after work that took forever. So no calorie burn but no gray roots! WINNING!
  • Wow! That would be hard. Looks like you will have to try and do most of it in the evenings?
  • I'm with some of the other ladies here. I'm actually 5'8" and weigh 163 but am just now comfortably in a size 12. I could wear a 10 in the waist in most clothes, but they would be horribly tight in my hips and upper thighs.
  • Today's exercises - check (stupid windshield wipers) 200 jumping jacks in 50 situps (gag) 2 miles Water - check Food will be good
  • I am doing MFP and my friend is doing weight watchers. She gave me the way to do hers, and I was curious so for 3 weeks I tracked it on an Excel spread sheet, her points vs. my calories. My diary entered into her point system were about the same. We have both lost the same amount of weight, but I find MFP easier and free!
  • Ummm....unless I missed something the last three weeks, I don't remember windshield wipers? I found this on youtube, but there were several variations...is this what we are supposed to be doing today? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omeqA3O4DUk (I think I may be losing my mind because I don't remember zig zag hops either?)
  • Congrats everybody! Yes, Stephanie...including you! You are still doing awesome on the exercises and your food. Hang in there. It will pay off! Ok, my tally for the week. 3.2 lbs loss (don't know how that one happened except those two days were I was nauseas I didn't eat as much). 225 extra crunches completed Caught up all…
  • Good news....Bad news....my 25th High School Reunion was last night and tonight. I didn't blow it by huge proportions, but margaritas don't do you any good when you have to come in from work and head straight out. I couldn't get any exercise in yesterday. I will make up that today and I got my water in. So my diary was…
  • Ok, I'll commit to 10 miles and try to do more, you know how I am on the crunches, so I'll commit to 250 :(, but the jumping jacks don't bother me, so I'll commit to 1000+ of those to help Joyous out since you guys keep carrying me on the crunches.
  • Everything done for today and 50 more situps, which puts me at 150...Lol....I feel like a wimp on these comparred to the rest of you.
  • No cure, but they can treat the symptoms. And Steph you are right, it goes into remission and has flare ups. They just treat the flare ups to try and get you back in remission, so hopefully...no major flares! I'm good with you just catching up when you get back Joyous and us just continuing to update for when you get back.…
  • Also, many healthy foods contain lots of sodium which will make you bloat. Try to watch the sodium intake.
  • Yes, I got the results last week when I went to get the stitches out. I have a rare autoimmune disease called linear/deep morphea. Still trying to read and research and wrap my head around it. Thanks for remembering :) Joyous, thanks for the alternates, I did better with the lowers and the obliques but you were right,…
  • Congrats on 24 years. I'm glad you don't see your relationship as work. I guess we could call it something else....effort? I have seen women complain that their SO doesn't ever compliment them any more, or do special things for them, etc. I have seen men complain that their SO doesn't dress up for them any more or do…
  • Sorry guys...was sick all day yesterday and it got really bad last night. I got my exercises in, calories under, 50 situps but missed my water...was so nauseas I just couldn't do it. Sorry.
  • I have the mile, military presses and 21's in. (My arm and shoulder are killing me!) I even managed to do 25 situps and will try to do 25 later.....arg....have I mentioned I detest situps?
  • That made me think of another one: Knows that relationships are work and that they have to put forth effort :)
  • Sense of humor Smile Manners (nothing like watching him hold the door at a restaurant for an elderly couple) Adventurous and not afraid to try something new even if it is uncomfortable for him Pitches in around the house Not afraid to make a fool of himself Intelligence Supportive Can hold a conversation and is not afraid…

  • I ran out and don't have it in front of me, but yes, I was using just a self-rising corn meal. One that it is the flour area that's just self-rising corn meal. Not a mix like Jiffy or anything.
  • Ok, so where I stand today for the week. I will make up the exercises for yesterday today, so I will have all exercises in. I got my water in every day. I missed my calories for yesterday. I lost .8 lbs. I walked 8.5 extra miles for the team challenge. If we could get a total for the miles and are only short a few, I can…
  • Wow! I'm so proud of everyone! You guys are rocking it this week! Stephanie girl....you just plain crack me up! Thanks for the laughs. I don't have time to watch the videos today, but I remember everyone comparing burpees to the up-downs we did to them so I'm not looking forward! I got everything in yesterday, plus got…
  • Great job Knikkiola! I'm impressed!
  • Welcome Amy to the Team! Great to have you! I will let Joyous tell you what you need to do as I'm not sure of the rules of someone starting in the middle. If you go back a few pages, you will see this weeks daily challenges if you want to see what we have been doing. We are on the one that says "Week 2". Glad to have you!
  • I really don't know how it works either, but the first week I lost 7 lbs. Now I'm loosing about 1-2 lbs a week so I know it was water weight as well. My tummy area is not as bloated now that I am drinking all the water so I will assume alot of it was getting rid of excess sodium and other things that I was retaining. Total…
