I was nauseous 24-7 my first trimester. It was awful. I am 17 weeks now and it's gotten so much better. Now if I don't eat all the time, I start to feel it. I snack constantly on fruit or nuts or yogurt and just try to eat tiny meals.

Thanks jgrodzicki! :)

I am due Nov 30 so I just made the cutoff for this feed! It's my first. My dr wants me to maintain, but a friend due Dec 10 was told to lose weight by her dr. She isn't bigger than me, but she is nearly 6 ft tall so she weights about the same as me. I'm 5'7. It surprised me when she told me!

This is my first pregnancy too. I was 215 (5'7) and I could tell at 9 weeks or so. My pants were getting tighter. Everyone else couldn't tell until about 14 weeks. I'm already in Maternity clothes now and I'm 17 weeks. My OB says 15 to 20 lbs max. I've gained 6 so far.

When lose weight, my boobs are the LAST thing to go... I wish they'd go down a bit!

Without a HRM, it's safer to go with the lower number.

The rule of thumb is take your body weight and divide by two. That's how many ounces you should drink a day. And if you exercise a lot, drink a little more. If you eat food with lots of water in it (melon and whatnot) drink a little less. I pee ever 20 mins to half hour so I know what you are going through. I have to stop…

Yes! I weigh in on Wednesdays... And if it goes up I log it. And If it goes down, I log it. It's not about de-motivation or depressing myself... it's about being Honest with myself. Maybe once a week is too often, maybe I should do once every two weeks, but whatever that weight is on Wednesday, I log it. If I don't, I'm…

How much sodium are you getting? That 3lbs you are losing and gaining could all be water weight. Unless you have a problem with sugar, I would not bother to track that. Eating a couple of pieces of fruit or a yogurt will always put you over. I'd track sodium instead. Anytime I go over 2500mg of sodium, the scale shoots up…

It's very had to avoid and usually i lose that battle myself. Giving in is ok once in a while... Just log it and keep going. Now for actually help, first step is to get it out of your area. Just move it somewhere else. Having it close will make it harder to avoid. Second is keep snacks at work. I have oatmeal, nuts, and…

Every man I've ever known loves long hair. I recently cut my curly hair to about my collar bone. I love it and so do all the women I know. All the men just keep asking me "Why did you cut your hair?"

Get a really good non-stick pan and a rubber spatula. I don't use any oil with a great restaurant quality pan and the rubber spatula won't scratch the surface. Make sure you hand wash the pan and I use paper towels between them to stack them so that they don't scratch.

A bag of microwave popcorn! Filling, light on calories, and you feel like you are having a treat.

Thanks you all so much for your input! I'm not trying to make a rash decision so I'm taking my time and thinking hard about this. I would expect to be 100% on my own if I did this but I'm ok with that. I know it's not an easy job to be a parent and when there is only one it's twice as hard. If i do this, it won't be out of…

Yes, Ruthy. I'll be 35 this year and risk of complications go up dramatically once you are over 35. I love kids and I've always wanted to be a mother. I just don't know if I can keep waiting to find Mr Right. What if it's too late? Lots of people have problems conceiving the older they get. I don't have lots of family…

Thanks! I was wondering if anyone had read this... One of my friends said it's not fair to the kids to PLAN to be a single parent, but if you plan to be a parent, aren't you more prepared than a couple that has an accident?

Get a good bra!! I lost a ton of weight about 10 years back and they didn't go down. It just varies from person to person. I had a reduction and basically they did a lift in there. You can go the surgery route if you want but if your significant other doesn't mind, just get a good bra that give you plenty of support and…

On the weekends I cook quinoa with a little chicken or veggie stock. Then I sauté up some veggies... usually zucchini, mushrooms and poblano peppers with a little chicken (seasoned with pepper and galic and cayanne). I portion the quinoa into tupperware for the week(i have a lot of tupperware!), add the veggies and one…

This! If someone deletes you... so be it. Their loss anyway.

Oh yeah... And I'm close enough to come baby sit!! :D

Honey, we are not going anywhere!! It's is a journey, not a race... whether or not I'm at my goal weight after you have the baby, I'll still be here for you. I know that if it weren't for the baby, you'd be much further along. You are so committed and doing so well. I know you can lose all that you want!!

I had been checking it but no one was posting! I hope public makes it better... :)

Oh, I want a fit bit so badly. But if you are trying to track the calories burned, it's not as good as a HRM. I've done research on this. A lot of people that have both have to go into fitbit website and adjust the calories to match their HRM when they work out. Machines are usually off as well. I'd say get a Heart Rate…

Green tea - it boost your metabolism Greek yogurt - it has tons of protein and keeps me fuller than other yogurts. I think that's about it. SamandJacksMom, you can make it at home. My friend did a blog post about it once... I'll see if I can find it and send it to you. He was working from home for a while and just kept…

I bet their sodium is way high too... even on the low cal stuff. I say go and try to enjoy yourself. Don't deprive the kids, but let them know that this is not something they should not eat often. While you learn to eat better they should too....

Yeah no self tanner for me! Ha ha ha! I have my daddy to thank for that one. I love to get a massage but I rarely do it. Usually pampering myself means opening a nice bottle of WINE but that just adds calories. My gym has a sauna which is nice to go in sometimes!
