I have a nikon D3100 which last year cost me about $650 with no extra lenses! If you do go with DSLR, you will become addicted and love it!! Lenses will kick your *kitten* in price but most of them come with some sort of zoom lens! =)

I have a sportline duo 1010 and haven't had any problems with it. It tells me cals burned and I love it. With that being said, I do wish I had bought a Polar just because they have RAVE reviews!!! My sportline was $65

I'm 5'2" and started off at 175lbs. I've been eating at 1200 cals and working out 50minutes 4-5 days a week and having success...maybe dropping a few hundred calories to 1200 may help. I'd also suggest at HRM. I'm surprised at what I burn and how off the machines and MFP are at calculating calories burned.

I work with a woman who tried Sensa and it didn't work!! I wouldn't waste money on chemicals...cut calories and exercise!! :smile:

Also keep healthy snacks around...mine are butter Toffe almonds, 100 cal guacamole, fiber one brownies...things that will satisfy me when I see others eating cheese dip or chocolate for example, I'll pull out the guacamole or fiber one brownie! I won't feel deprived but just watching them eat!!
