There is quite a bit of conflict regarding IF, as I'm sure you've already discovered. If you have PCOS, IF would be really good for you - yes, with the weight loss but even more with controlling your insulin levels. To understand this better I would suggest reading The Obesity Code by Dr Carl Jung. It was an eyeopener for…

IF is SO much more than just losing weight. I would suggest those of you who have questions read the book The Obesity Code. It explains the what/why/how of IF and eating 'cleaner' as well. My DH has even decided to do IF which has shocked me. Now his weight is normal, but he has been convinced of the health benefits of it…

CICO is NOT that simple. it is way more complex than that. I've learned so much recently about insulin levels and how weight gain/loss is governed quite a bit hormonally. I would suggest reading the book The Obesity Code: Unlocking the Secrets of Weight Loss. Eye opening

I would suggest to get your gait analyzed at a running store. Sounds like you could be heel striking, but there are many things that can cause that and until your gait is analyzed we are all just guessing.

I don't track sugar. I am aiming at NO added sugar - simply the sugar that comes naturally in fruits/veggies etc.

Core strengthening excercises - planks, yoga, etc help

I love juice cleanses - they really do cleanse me if you know what I mean.

Wonderful!!!! I told a girl at work yesterday that she could reverse her T2 diabetes - she looked at me like I was crazy (while she was eating a lunch heavy on simple carbs and sugar). I just might direct her to your post

I'm back on the fasting plan after a week at the beach eating everything in sight and being embarrassed when I put on my swimsuit! Fasting this week has made me incredibly tired and cranky, but it's always that way for me when i start back. I was able to manage without much difficulty though. I've found it mainly a head…

We get Home Chef meals, and I usually have the one with the calorie count that fits my needs. Last night it was Spicy Honey Salmon with veggies. Delish!

I created a food called "Fast Day" and added 700 calories to it. Now on a fast day I enter that for breakfast. Viola! No more pesky messages about not having enough calories

I've tried Blue Apron, Hello Fresh and Home Chef. By far Home Chef is my favorite. The recipes are pretty easy, I've learned a lot about cooking, it helps me with meal planning. Some of the recipes are a little high in calories (800-900) but I don't have low calorie set as one of my preferences. I've been doing Home Chef…

Only YOU can decide if you are worth it. Why do you want to lose? Why do you want to NOT lose? Have you been to counseling?

I'm come to learn the calorie amount isn't my biggest struggle - it's the serving size I tend to eat

I'd enjoy the food with appropriate portion sizes. My husband and I went to WDW for a week, enjoyed all the food but split most of the meals as their sized are huge. We came away without gaining and enjoyed ourselves.

I'd have the nachos too - this is not about losing weight per se - it's about a new sustainable eating lifestyle

Wow!

I have found that when I crave something sweet if I eat a dill pickle it stops the sweet craving. I know- it's crazy but it works for me
