I love my Apple watch much better than I did Fitbit. It counts steps and has many activities in them you can choose for exercise. I find my AW and my husbands Garmin running watch to not be exactly the same when walking/running. I think the AW is just slightly off in distance compared to the Garmin - maybe 0.1 mile at most

Intermittent fasting has fixed my prediabetes along with no added sugar and restricting simple carbs. I am the only one in my family my generation and above without diabetes - even my nieces grand daughter is diabetic. I'm fighting all I can. The Obesity Code by Dr. Jason Fung helped me understand it

Come over to Intermittent Fasting. It works and there is no counting point, calories etc

Please get the book Fast. Feast. Repeat by Gin Stephens OR The Obesity Code by Dr. Jason Fung. Watch Dr. Sten Ekberg on YouTube. I do IF as well as keto. Learning as much as possible helps me. I continue to read and watch videos on it. It really is a very healthy way of life

YAY! Glad to find another ADF - I'm doing exactly the same thing. Love it

A friend of mine who happens to be a physician always says "you cannot out-exercise a bad diet". Based on my experience over the years he is right

Buy the book The Obesity Code by Dr Jason Fung and read it. It will change how you look at weight loss

Congratulations and welcome to the magic of intermittent fasting. I don't know if you have done this yet, but the thing that helped me most with maintaining the IF life is to learn all I can about it. Fast Feast Repeat by Gin Stephens. The Obesity Code by Dr. Jason Fung. Watching Dr. Sten Ekberg on YouTube. Soak it all in.…

Try not having many carbs late in your eating window. I've found the more carbs I eat the hungrier I am when I wake up. Chinese with rice- I wake up starving.

DH and I alway try to lose 5 lb before going to WDW. It's nearly impossible to not gain weight there - at least for us.

Bottom line - when you start doing something positive for yourself it ends up making them feel bad about themselves so they have to be dismissive of your positive changes to boost themselves up. These people are really sad. I didn't realize that until I did some major work at looking at myself and my own self esteem.

Amazing! You look so miserable in your before pic. I know it's been a lot of hard work and discipline but you are rocking it

Amazing!

Here is the deal - you are not a lost cause unless you believe you are. Change the voice in your head. Make small changes. Don't be an 'all or nothing' person. If you eat too much today, start again tomorrow.

I'm 62 and have been taking HRT for probably 15 yrs at least. I use a patch in a very low dose. Keeps me sane

IF worked for me. I lost weight on 1200cal/day to start. I measured/weighed my food and did everything I could to assure I was as accurate as possible. Then I hit a plateau. For months. Weight WOULD NOT budge. A doctor I knew talked to me about IF and I decided to give it a try. He is a big advocate of it, and eats that…

It gave me 1100 calories - I'm happy with that

Is you belly growling hungry or are you just craving something you've always done? For me, most of the time I just WANT something. I'm not really hungry. Decide what you want worse - chips or weight loss
