Be patient. If you fall of the wagon one day don't give up - just get back at it the next day. If you have a craving, satisfy it with a very small portion and work it into your calorie allotment for the day. If you can't have just a little portion of it (I can't with chocolate) find a substitute.

Me too. Just get started again. That's where I'm at. I know what happened. I was training for a marathon and stopped fasting. Plus thanksgiving and hristmas. Then 10 days at Disney World. I'm surprised it's only 10. But I'm back at it now. Fasting today.

I prefer IF to eating at a daily deficit. I was at 1200 calories a day and hit a plateau I could not break for months. I changed over to IF, with fasting two days/week and 500 calories allowed on those fasting days. The non fast days I could eat up to 2000. It's hard to allow yourself to be a healthy weight when it's heavier than you are used to and when you have a distorted body image (I was told that once when I was upset because I weighed 120 lbs). I switched from WW years ago. WW works, but you have to pay. MFP is free, easy and I just like it better. It's worked for me. Hubby does HFLC, and ran a marathon eating that way. We both are runners, do no dairy d/t lactose intolerance. I can't go into the science of it like above, but it is able to be done, and done well. He used Lara bars (cashew cookie) for nutrition during long runs because they are low on carbs.
