  • I drink a Frankenstein's monster concoction of: 3 tbl gatorade powder 1/2 scoop ON Double Chocolate protein powder 1 tsp creatine It doesn't taste that good, at best an orange tootsie roll pop, but it's dirt cheap to make for the same benefit of, say, beachbody's recovery drink.

  • Back and Biceps is a killer. Had to use 10lbs on my final 8 reps! Also, happy I have a gym which has an assisted pull-up machine. I don't think I'd be able to do more than 2 otherwise. Looking forward to yoga tomorrow with the roommates.
  • Got lazy yesterday and before I knew it I ran out of time. Guess that had to be my break day. Plyo once I get off of work.
  • Starting week 5 when I get back home today. From what I hear the workout's a bit of a doozy. In other news, finally getting some flexibility into my hamstrings. On the one leg hamstring stretch I can finally touch my heels!

  • Just finished first day of week 4. From what I hear core synergistics is an absolute bear so I'm going to wait until after work tomorrow to do it rather than try to cram it in the morning. I'm excited to see a new workout though.

  • Changes...probably mostly mental. However, I do notice that my core feels firmer, in that I can feel all of the individual ridges of the abdominal muscles underneath the layer of soon-to-be-vaporized abdominal fat. Now that's some motivation.
  • One issue I have with p90x is day 3, 4 & 5 I do abs in one form or another. My poor poor abdominals. Hitting up shoulders in arms in just a few minutes, then I will be halfway done with week 3
  • No eggs eh...phase 1 might get a little interesting. Are you against whey powder? Might have a scoop 3 times a day to make up for some alternative sources. Also for your dairy choices I'd consider something like Fage 0% greek yogurt. Tons of protein in there, and you can toss berries in it for sweetener. So just as an…

  • Figured I'd join the ranks. Finished day 1 of week two this morning. Tomorrow AM I get to wake up to plyometrics...yay?
  • I'm on week two, just finished my chest & back so I'll be keeping up with this for at least the next few months. Trying to follow the nutrition plan but this no carb thing is making me hungry!
